About this Cook
My nicknames are: brownie and bakingfreak. That says enough :-) I'm a student, becoming a elementaryschoolteacher. And i love to cook! Living in a house with 12 housemates, my food is always gone in a sec. They love to eat, i love to bake!
My favorite things to cook
I really like baking, such as : muffins, rolls, brownies, pies and tarts, cakes. I also like to make traditional American food, Mexican and indonesian food
My favorite family cooking traditions
Making a ricetable (indonesian). My family is from indonesia, and whenever we have a family get together, we serve loads of indonesian food
My cooking triumphs
organising a bakesale, and baking everything myself to raise money for my communityhouse. It was a great succes! Everyone was pleased and liked my goodies, and i raised a lot of money!
My cooking tragedies
hmm. Putting a cake under the grill, cookies that walked of my sheet and fell on the bottom of my oven to leave a horrible burnt smell and a real mess, creampuffs that did not raise higher that 1/2 inch... :-)

Sweet Dinner Rolls
Made two batches within 3 days! Crazy good, everyone thinks I'm an amazing baker after tasting these. I lowered the sugar to barely a 1/4 cup and they still came out wonderful. Also, I didn't use 1/4 cup for spreading, maybe about two TBSP and it was still wonderful.

Oatmeal Waffles
Even though I already added some more salt, I thought these to be too bland. So it's an okay recipe, but I will be looking for another better one.

Best Marinara Sauce Yet
this sauce is incredible. I used chopped tomatoes, and omitted the wine, but it still tastes amazing. Will bookmark this recipe!
