Molly's Chicken

Reviewed: Nov. 22, 2009
I made this recipe as written. It was good, but was lacking something, the chicken was falling off the bone but I thought the sauce needed a little more pizazz. I would try it again, maybe using more brown sugar this time.

This was fabulous! It was eaten so quickly, I didn't get a chance to get a photo to post! I am so impressed with this recipe. I have not had much success with cooking with wine in the past, but this was perfect! Thanks for a fantastic recipe!

Sausage Balls

Reviewed: Mar. 23, 2008
This was a good recipe, but I did make a few changes. I used 4 eggs instead of 2, it was just too dry. The first batch I placed on a rack in the pan, but then part of the mixture fell through. Just placing them on a cookie sheet worked great. I also baked them at 425 degrees. Everyone at brunch really enjoyed these and kept asking me what they were. No one knows it was so simple to make!

Tres Leches Cake

Reviewed: Mar. 23, 2008
I had no problems with this recipe as others did with the cake collapsing. I thought it was perfect. Before icing the cake, I cut it in half and placed sliced strawberries between the layers, then soaked it in the milk mixture. A bakery where I live adds the fruit in the middle and I think it is just delicious. I will use this recipe again, thanks for another great one!

Judy's Strawberry Pretzel Salad

Reviewed: Mar. 21, 2008
This recipe was just like one I had when I was a kid. I did use a bit more pretzels then the recipe calls for to cover the bottom of the dish. Yum!

Cream Cheese Spritz

Reviewed: Mar. 16, 2008
I did make a few changes to this recipe. I added food coloring to make it more festive, added an extra egg, and used vanilla instead of lemon. They were a perfect consistency for my cookie press. It was the first time I had used the press and this recipe was just right!

Three Cheese Chicken Bake

Reviewed: Feb. 24, 2008
I really liked this recipe, it wasn't just another chicken cassarole. I followed the suggestions of others and used 2 cans of soup and some crushed garlic. It was a great winter time comfort food. I have already passed the recipe on to my mom for her to try! I know I'll use this one again!

Jimmy's Mexican Pizza

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2007
I made this for dinner the other night and it was great. I made a few changes, instead of using salsa for the top layer I spread the top tortilla with red enchilada sauce, and I used the package taco seasoning for a quick shortcut. A good recipe, and quick too!

Grilled Sweet Potatoes with Apples

Reviewed: Apr. 28, 2007
These sweet potatoes were a great side dish for steak. I left the apples out, but I am sure it would be good with those as well. Just be careful that the foil has no tears in it and won't leak once the butter and sugar heat up, I had a flaming packet on the grill! I will make this recipe again!

Quick and Easy Crab Rangoon Dip

Not super impressed with the idea of this dip being cold. It wasn't bad, but I think I will use it for the filling in homemade crab rangoon!

Everytime I make these, someone always asks for the recipe. For variety, I have used chocolate cake mix with peanut butter chips and it was just as delicious as the original!
