About this Cook
I am a mom of three. Ages 23, 20 and 17. I am also owner of a private ambulance service. I don't have alot of free time, love to shop at Target, browse the internet, collect recipes, and BAKE.
My favorite things to cook
I like to cook, but I love to bake more. I love making cookies, cakes, and would like to start making some killer pies when the weather warms up. In the winter, it's all about casseroles and comfort foods.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Christmas Cookies! It would not be Christmas without dozens and dozens of assorted cookies.

Downeast Maine Pumpkin Bread
I make this exactly as written for the past 5 years. It is a hit! I make double batches because everyone always wants a loaf of their own.

Broccoli Cheese Soup
AWESOME! My daughter had been bugging to to find a great broccoli cheese soup recipe. This is the one! I used about 20 oz of frozen broccoli florets. Cooked them down, and then followed a few other reviewers. Chopped them up and added them to the butter. I left out the onions because my daughter hates them. I added three cans of broth til heated up, then added 2 lbs. of cheese and used 1 1/2 cups of the other can of broth to mix with the cornstarch. Thanks for this awesome recipe.
