About this Cook
I don't cook so much, so tired after work. Not crazy about the grocery shopping part, but if somebody does it I will happily cook it.
My favorite things to cook
fish, slowcooked meat (like a pot roast), chicken, banana bread, pumpkin bread.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My mom was a horrible cook, I used to try to get out of eating dinner most of the time.
My cooking triumphs
I cooked a recipe that won 1st prize in a newspaper recipe contest. It was a cod-green onion quiche. I didn't like a single ingredience in the pie before that, but somehow it came out ultra-delicious. There is hope for bland foods.
My cooking tragedies
My boyfriend loves applepie and I just can't get it right. I'll be slaving in the kitchen for hours making a huge mess and it'll just come out totally mediocre.

The Amazing Swedish Meatball
I just cooked this for my boyfriend and I thought it was really bland. I gave it a C+ and he gave it a B-. If you decide to do this recipe anyway, take it out at the 30 min and briefly fry them in butter or something that would give it some flavor. Then add the sauce, but instead of using boiling water, use beef stock. Then eat the meatball with lingonberries (or cranberries) to add some more taste to it.
