Pancake and Sausage Casserole

Reviewed: Jul. 15, 2012
This was really good... I used fresh unseasoned sausage and pamela's gluten free pancake mix... My mom and 3 of her friends liked it and my husband liked it as well... nice dish to eat all at once we had 6 people eat and still had half of it left!!

Curried Chicken and Brown Rice Casserole

Reviewed: Oct. 6, 2009
I am always looking for new dishes to try with my friends... This turned out really good (other than my mistake of using regular brown rice and it didn't get done in the oven, the first time I made it) I made it again today cooking regular brown rice all the way on the top of the stove before mixing it into the rest of the recipe and into the oven... The first time I made it for 9 others and they all liked the flavor... in the future I would always cook the rice on the top of the stove before mixing into the rest... another thing I would do is to mix up the rest of the recipe the night before and let it marinade the chicken... plus makes it so easy to stick in the oven the next day and dinner is done!!! Thanks for the recipe, will use it again in the future!!!

Amazing Brown Rice Salad

Reviewed: May 19, 2007
I only gave this 4 stars because it is a good base recipe. As with most I made my own additions. I cooked the rice according to the directions, Brown Basmati. Let it cool and then added the rest of the ingredients and let it all set together for a few hours. Probably best to make it in the morning for dinner. I added walnuts, red peppers, and green onions to that is already listed. It turned out great!! Thanks for the recipe.

Thin Egg Pancakes

Reviewed: Feb. 5, 2007
I made these this morning with egg beaters, soy milk, soy flour and some ground flax seed, I also used splenda instead of sugar and added cinnamon... YUM!!! loved them!! Loved the idea of a higher protein, lower carb pancake.

Banana Oat and Bran Cookies

Reviewed: Aug. 27, 2006
Ok... the one star is for THIS recipe... but with adding a little more dry ingredients about a half a cup of flour and another half a cup of oats this made an excellent muffin recipe. Quite tasty.

Apple Bars

Reviewed: Jun. 9, 2006
Ok... I usually laugh at people that substitute everything in a recipe... but I did a lot of substitutions... I used whole wheat flour, canola oil instead of butter, half of the walnuts for dried cranberries, I used egg beaters and cooking splenda... probably at least half the calories. They were dry when I made them last night... but this morning they are moist and tasty.

Blueberry Cornmeal Pancakes

Reviewed: Jan. 29, 2006
These were good. I used fat free soy milk and I assume that lowered the fat content some. I also used canola oil. Will definately make these again!!

Asparagus Guacamole

Reviewed: Aug. 1, 2005
I really thought this was a little bland, and my friends and I didn't care for the consistency. It wasn't creamy like real guacamole, it could maybe be called asaragus salsa, ours came out watery. I thought it would get better with age but the asparagus flavor overpowered everything after a day. Won't make again.

Sesame Chicken Pasta Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 5, 2005
This was just ok. I made it with shrimp as someone else suggested and whole wheat pasta. I think my parsley was a bit sour. Something just didn't taste quite right.
