Pork Tenderloin with Mustard Sauce

Reviewed: Nov. 11, 2005
Made this last night, and was it good! I really liked the mustard sauce. I did have to cook it longer than 1 hr. (I did it at 350 degrees, too), but it was very tender and flavorful. Thanks for the great recipe.

Excellent recipe as written. I did add about a cup of chopped fresh broccoli. Easy and delicious. Thanks DONNAPF1.

Chocolate Eclair Dessert

Reviewed: Mar. 23, 2006
Ditto what they said. Regarding the frosting - I let it set up in the frig for about an hour, then put the frosting container in the microwave for about a minute. No trouble frosting it then. Oh - and make sure you get a decent frosting because the frosting taste is pronounced. Thanks Kristie.

Blackened Shrimp Stroganoff

Reviewed: Mar. 23, 2006
I made this for supper last night and it was inhaled! Even the 5 yr. old grandson loved it (he does have a rather sophisticated palate, though). I didn't have cajun seasoning, so I used Cookie's Spicy Seasoning and some garlic powder. Guess I'm going to have to buy some cajun seasoning. Great recipe Linda, thanks!

Chicken Pot Pie II

Reviewed: Mar. 19, 2006
Excellent recipe. I, of course, didn't have the fozen veggies, so I nuked one potatoe, one carrot and a handful of green beans. The sauce was excellent and you could add whatever veggies you want. Great recipe. Thanks Darkholme.

Best Spinach Dip Ever

Reviewed: Mar. 13, 2006
I agree with the title. I love a good spinach dip, and this is surely one of the best. Took it to a going-away party and it was gone in record time. Thanks for the recipe, Shawna.

Leek Potato Mushroom Cheddar Soup

Reviewed: Feb. 28, 2006
This soup was very good. I can never find leeks in my local grocery store, so substituted 3 green onions (white part only). The soup had a wonderful flavor. Thanks for the recipe.

BBQ Chicken Pizza II

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2006
This was excellent. Like others, I sauted the veggies a bit in olive oil, then added my pre-cooked chicken and Famous Dave's BBQ Sauce to the pan. Then I put everything on the pizza dough. My store didn't have Jack cheese (just Colby/Jack), so that's what I used. I'll bet pure Monterey Jack would have been better. But, on the whole, this recipe definitely goes in my recipe box. Thanks a lot Iv.

Asparagus Angel Hair Pasta

Reviewed: Apr. 12, 2006
We really liked this dish. I was intrigued by the addition of (basically) guacamole but the flavor combination was excellent! Like other reviewers, I think next time I'll replace some of the chicken broth with white wine. Thanks for the great recipe BRENDAJST!

Jim Kaczmarek's Chili

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2006
I thought this had a wonderful, well balanced flavor. And I like the addition of pinto beans instead of kidney beans. I threw everything in the crock pot on medium for about 6 hrs. It was a little thicker than we like, so I just added a bit of water to thin it some. Thanks for the great recipe, Christine L.

Baked Spaghetti Corn

Reviewed: Jan. 25, 2006
Molly, this was soooo good! My 6 yr. old grandson had seconds. I gave this recipe to a friend who has three grown sons (living with her... hem...). Anyway, she said she made a double batch and they inhaled it. Then asked her to make it the next day! Now, that's an endorsement! Thanks for the great recipe.

Yummy Pork Chops

Reviewed: Jan. 9, 2006
OMG... were these good! I had two Iowa Chops (about an inch thick) so I halved the ingredients. I had to cook them about an hour and I took the lid off about 20-30 minutes ahead of time, and I'm glad I did. The sauce reduced to a wonderful consistency and flavor. (And, let me tell you, while it was reducing, I was really worried. All I could smell was vinegar and so was prepared to just dump these into the garbage! LOL) I served these with cheesy potatoes and a salad (with Dorothy Lynch dressing - wanted to stay away from anything vinegar-y). A most excellent recipe Serina. Thanks a bunch!

Crispy Rosemary Chicken and Fries

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2006
Man, was this good! And easy! I used the dry spices because that's what I had. And we used leg quarters. Baked it in the oven for about 1 1/4 and served it with spinach. Very good recipe. Thanks Sandy.

Hazelnut-Mushroom Pilaf

Reviewed: Dec. 25, 2005
Absolutely excellent! I made this as the side dish to serve with the lobster I had for Christmas Eve dinner. It complimented it perfectly. I could see adding chicken or shrimp right to this to make it a complete meal. Thank you for this quick, easy and elegant dish.

Pesto Chicken Florentine

Reviewed: Mar. 5, 2010
DH and I have been trying to get more spinach in our diets (heart healthy, don'tchaknow) so I've been searching for anything using spinach. Since the sodium level was pretty high, I put this together using the low cal Alfredo Sauce recipe found here and we really liked it. The pesto simply ramped up the recipe to outstanding. Oh, be sure an cover the chicken while you're cooking it. Thanks for the recipe MINERFAMILY!

Baked Ziti IV

Reviewed: Jan. 25, 2006
This was very good - even though I screwed it up! I only added one can of spaghetti sauce. Big mistake - big - HUGE mistake. But, over the next week as I heated it up for lunch, I just added some tomato juice to the batch I was reheating in the microwave, and it was delish! I definitely am going to try this again, but with the CORRECT amount of sauce. Thanks, Seth.
