I've been making corned beef and cabbage for many years and I thought this recipe was outSTANDing!! I too put it in my crockpot and used the packet of herbs after covering it with Brown Sugar Twin and pouring a bottle of Michelob Amber Bock all around. I put the potatoes, carrots and cabbage in at noon when I came home for lunch. When we got home at 7:00 p.m. everything was just perfect! Served with sourdough bread... yum!!
