About this Cook
I am a Mom of 3 beautiful girls. I have always enjoyed cooking but after having my children I began to LOVE it. Trying new recipes to give my family new experiences. Cooking at home was my "ME time." Now that my girls are growing they have started watching and asking questions. Giving me a chance for "OUR time." I enjoy keeping the "Home" in home cooked meals. I work full time and have ventured into the "Freezer meals." Crock pot and One pot dinners. Cilantro and Garlic are my everything! Honey is a secret ingredient to almost everything. I absolutely LOVE to bake. Sweet is a weakness in a house of three sweeties. ALLRECIPES is my Haven.
My favorite things to cook
I'll try anything once! Sometimes even thrice. ;)
My favorite family cooking traditions
Christmas Eve Dinner and Easter Dinner. I Go all out!
My cooking triumphs
When my girls ask for seconds.
My cooking tragedies
Peppermint!

Tres Leches (Milk Cake)
This recipe has flavor and is overall a keeper. However, in years of Tres Leche Baking the Eggs definetly need to be seperated. Yokes mixed well with sugar then add the softened butter until combined. Beat egg whites and fold into the yoke mixture. Add flour little by little. Pour into prepared pan. I also add a little powders sugar to the milk mixture and top with cocoa powder. Family Fav!

Grandma's Chicken Noodle Soup
GREAT recipe. Adjust to your taste and it will be AMAZING. I personally dont use the oil and cut down the salt. Thank you for this one!

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings
Easy base for a recipe. The best part is that you can play around with it. I add tobasco, seasonings and some veggies. I've used broth I had frozen or low sodium store bought. There is such a variety of things you can do to this recipe, leaving it as is would be a waste of home cooking. Yea, sure it used canned biscuits but a lot of us full time working MOM's dont have the time to make fresh. I love that this recipe got such high ratings because it should.
