Pork Chops for the Slow Cooker

Reviewed: Jan. 29, 2014
I cut the soy sauce in half and increased the catchup, eliminating the ginger because I didn't have any. My boyfriend and I both enjoyed it. I will definitely make it again!

Virginia Apple Pudding

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2014
I made this to take to New Year's Day dinner at the inlaws. It was a HUGE hit. There wasn't time to cut up apples, so I used 2 cans of apple pie filling. I rinsed the apples to remove the gooey stuff and coarsely chopped them. The pie filling already had some cinnamon, so I only used half of what the recipe called for. I also baked it for 45 minutes. It was a nice golden brown color and it had set nicely.

WOW! This is really, really tasty! I added a little more mayo to add moisture, and of course, more bacon. YUM!

Venison Bacon Burgers

Reviewed: Jan. 30, 2013
I'm new to cooking venison and need all the help I can get. This recipe deserves 10 stars! I didn't have all the ingredients, but they were still amazing. I used a few drops of liquid smoke in place of Worch. sauce, skipped the shallots and used a pound of bacon. I topped them with lettuce and a little mayo and used potato rolls. This yielded 10 mini/medium burgers. Will make again!

Yum Yum Green Beans

Reviewed: Nov. 10, 2011
I'm not a big fan of bacon, so I left it out. I followed the rest of the recipe as written and really enjoyed it. Will make it again for sure.

Honey Mustard Dressing II

Reviewed: Oct. 17, 2010
This is a very good honey mustard dressing. Like others, I used fat free plain yogurt instead of mayo.

Turkey Burgers

Reviewed: Oct. 3, 2010
Love this burger! I took other reviewers advice, omitting the water and using onion mushroom soup instead. I also used only 1/2 the packet. The next time I make them, I will add a little more of the soup mix. Paired with cranberry sauce, small potatoes, and green beans, it tasted like Thanskgiving!

Famous Pork Chops

Loved this recipe! I am always looking for fast easy ways to prepare meats. This was perfect. I will make them again, for sure. There are a lot of good suggestions for substitutes and can't wait to try them.
