Golden Rum Cake
This was a big hit at my house today. First time making a rum cake. Only two changes that I made. I used all white Calico Jack Coconut Rum. Feel comfortable using the full cup as it is a delicate rum. I also put HALF of the chopped pecans on the bottom & I mixed the other HALF into the batter. We loved it. Thanks for great recipe.

Caramelized French Toast
RE: carmel sauce. START with the brown sugar & butter only. When it starts to slightly bubble turn stove down & let it boil ever so gently & stir. That should be the end of any burning or any other problems. And of course what would it be without cinnamon, but not tooooo much.

Gravy Baked Pork Chops
I have been making this recipe for over 40 years & it is always a hit. I always brown a chopped onion tho first. The biggest secret to this recipe is to use Cream of Celery soup. Mushroom soup is too strong but you will get a very tasty more delicate gravy with the Cr. Of Celery. I alternate chops & then next time chicken. Both turn out beautifully. I serve over noodles.
