Baked Tomatoes Oregano

Reviewed: Oct. 30, 2009
For such a simple recipe these were really good. I also used parmasan cheese(not the powered stuff) and Italian breadcrumbs. I also just sprayed the top with olive oil. Fantastic and tasty!

Easy Chicken Satay

Reviewed: Oct. 8, 2009
Why, why, why, did I wait so long to make this recipe. This wonderful meal was sitting in my recipe box for ages. So glad I finally used it. I also just baked these tid bits in the oven. (it was a rainy day) and added garlic because we LOVE garlic, other than that I made as exactly written, turned out DELISH.

Romesco Sauce

Reviewed: Aug. 10, 2009
This was different. I'm not really sure how to rate this. I did exactly as the recipe called for. I think it's the texture of the nuts I need to get used to. Can't wait to try it on pizza or as a sauce. Right now, I've just been dipping my french loaf into it!

BBQ Chuck Roast

Reviewed: Aug. 10, 2009
The reviews on this recipe made me run right out and buy a rotisserie for my BBQ. And Boy, am I glad I did!!! This was so moist and tasty my husband didn't say a word through dinner, except to say "I'm going back for seconds!" Thanks for a great recipe I'll be using again, and again....and again.

The Best Chicken Fried Steak

Reviewed: Jul. 23, 2009
This recipe intrigued me. When I travel in the U.S. I would ALWAYS see this on the menu but never tried it....until now. I'm not sure what to make of it. Deep frying a steak. The batter was good. The gravy frightened me but(with a little seasoning) was good. But I didn't like the overall taste. Huh. Think I'll stick to deep fried chicken and use this batter! And gravy!

Broccoli-Stuffed Sole

Reviewed: Jul. 22, 2009
I would rate this 4 1/2 stars if I could. This was delish. I too used fresh broccoli, steamed slightly. Brown rice and lemon pepper in place of salt and pepper. Yummy. Will be making this again, real soon!

Italian Spaghetti Sauce with Meatballs

Reviewed: May 18, 2009
I've used a few spaghetti sauce recipes from this site and I have to say this was the most tasteless. I did exactly as the recipe said. I wont be using this again.

Slow-Cooker Barbecue Ribs

Reviewed: Mar. 13, 2009
I took the advice of other reviewers and put garlic salt and pepper on my ribs first, then added only a tiny portion of ketchup (I hate it!) but left everything else the same. My results? My 5 and 6 year old were asking for more before they even finished the first rib! Will be keeping this and making again and again...and again!

Chocolate Cornstarch Pudding

Reviewed: Mar. 13, 2009
The taste of this pudding was amazing. I couldn't get enough. I followed the recipe exactly. I did get lumps though. I'm not sure if I had it on too high. It took FOREVER to boil. Or if my constarch clumped. I loved it though....lumps and all.

Fish Tacos

Reviewed: Mar. 4, 2009
First let me tell you I didn't use this recipe to make fish tacos. I've never heard of them. I was on a different recipe for battered fish and one of the reviews said she preferred the batter for Tanyas fish tacos.....so here I am. I used the batter and my halibut was delish. Better then my local fish and chip shop. Just out of curiosity I made the white sauce to use as a kind of tartar sauce and it was OUT OF THIS WORLD! I'm sooo glad I took the time to read the other reviews on the other recipe or I would never have found this one. Thanks Tanya

Flavorful Beef Stir-Fry

Reviewed: Feb. 22, 2009
I made this recipe exactly as is. It was just O.K. Needed a little more flavouring. Ginger maybe, garlic etc. Also, I would scale back on the cornstarch next time. It made a sort of gravy instead of nice sauce. Way too thick for the veggies. Will try again with some modifications.

Slow Cooker Chicken Taco Soup

Reviewed: Feb. 21, 2009
I was very hesitant in making this soup. But it kept being recommended on the recipe exchange with rave reviews. So...I finally made it. And I was glad I did. The only change I made was with the taco seasoning. I made my own from a recipe on this site and it made it outta sight. I also added some chopped pickled jalepeno. (we like spicy) My first bowl I had just on it's own and I thought..this is pretty good. My SECOND bowl I added the sour cream and a little grated cheese and BAM...Really really good. Thanks everyone for recommending it over and over and over again. Now I'll be doing the same.

Easy Slow Cooker French Dip

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2009
Oh MY! Where do I start? This is delish!! I butter and grill some calabrese buns (a little more dense then french bread so it doesn't get soggy) add the wonderful roast then put under the grill again topped with provolone cheese. Then dip away in that awesome tasting dip. My husband and I love this.

This was my first time making pizza crust. I think I rolled it out too thin. It was a little soggy. But my second crust was better.
