Butternut Squash Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2012
This was exce llent! and I've ruined a good butternut before! I did bake the squash in the oven cut side up (reversed from what I tried last time) and just salt and peppered it. I used 2 cans of chicken broth (my squash was a bit small) and only about 3 oz of cream cheese. DELISH!

Mediterranean Chicken

Really liked this a lot and it has lots of flexibility. used tenders and apple juice for the wine and dried herbs instead of fresh but it was an easy and rewarding dish!

Jamie's Cranberry Spinach Salad

Reviewed: Nov. 8, 2011
What a GREAT salad! For some reason salad's are not my strong point. I used other reviewers suggestions of pine nuts and blue cheese. It's my standard salad now! Thanks Jamie!

Easy Chicken Satay

Reviewed: Nov. 8, 2011
not sure if I did something wrong. Marinated for 2.5 hours, But this was so bland. The marinade smelled great but didn't taste like the chicken had been cooked in anything and the dipping sauce was terrible. I threw it out and my husband eats pretty much anything.

Hungarian Mushroom Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 14, 2011
I love this recipe! This is our regular rotation now, we never have parsley so I skip that ingredient, but everything else I follow. Even my 4 and 5 yr olds eat it up!

Terrific Turkey Chili

Reviewed: Oct. 3, 2011
Really liked this a lot. My 4 yr old who never had Chili before, said "Chili is my favorite!" Also added beans per the reviews, no chili pepper flakes and topped with cheese. Loved that I used zuccini in this

Split Pea Soup

Reviewed: May 11, 2011
This soup is EXCELLENT! I don't even know what marjoram does but I've had it in my spice cabinet forever. I'm glad to put it to good use! Thanks for the recipe!

Quinoa and Black Beans

Reviewed: May 11, 2011
nice change from the quinoa with soy sauce, but seems like it needs some sort of light sauce. maybe vinegar or lemon juice. I'm just not sure.

Baked Honey Mustard Chicken

Reviewed: May 11, 2011
Definitely easy but no wow factor. I'd make again and use dijon and maybe add diced potatoes to soak up more sauce.

Mahogany Chicken Wings

Reviewed: Apr. 29, 2011
I never seem to plan ahead enough to marinate so instead I make double the sauce and cook the wings in the sauce in the oven. They come out FABULOUS every time! These are a favorite every time I bring them.

Asian Orange Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 11, 2011
Great recipe with easy ingredients I had on hand. I didn't have any issues with it being a goopy mess, and I loved it and so did my 2 and 4yr old (minus the red pepper flakes) Thanks for a great orange chicken I can do at home!

Blue Cheese Burgers

Reviewed: Apr. 11, 2011
LOVED THIS! I'm not even a big burger fan, I don't think I've ever even made a burger because why bother. This was excellent. I probably used more worshester than it called for because I use more in everything and I fried in a pan for sliders but loved loved this so much - it's already in a permanent rotation. Thanks!

Spanish Rice Original

Reviewed: Mar. 24, 2010
LOVED IT! loved the bacon in it, which you didn't notice much except that it was so good. I doubled the recipe but it still wasn't enough liquid. Good thing I checked before it burnt to the bottom of the pan but even that was just more tasty bits! thanks!

Oatmeal Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Aug. 12, 2007
Really really really good. I've made some bad cookies in my life and I needed a recipe that I didn't need vanilla. I realized after creaming all the sugar and peanut butter (used unsalted butter instead of shortening & margarine) that I didn't have the oats, so I actually used 3 packets of instant flavored oatmeal and it still came out excellent!
