Flourless Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: May 22, 2010
This was my first time both making and tasting peanut butter coookies and I am in love! Delicious. I can not believe I never made them before, being a huge peanut butter fan. The only changes I made was to slightly reduce the sugar (to about 2/3 cup) as I prefer less sweet cookies and to add a pinch of vanilla and about 2 tbsp flour (I am a carb girl, cant help it!). Thank you so much for the great recipe - took less than 10 min to get into the oven - perfect for a cookie craving! :)

Lovely! I added some almond essence to the base and it turned out just great. Definetely will make again (even my peach-hating hubby loved it!). Thanks.

Pakistani Spicy Chickpeas

Reviewed: Jun. 10, 2006
This is a basically good recipe that needs a bit of flavour and interest added. I add about 1 tsbp of chaat masala (available from Indian groceries) towards the end of cooking and serve with puffed rice - yummy!

Delicious! The only variation is that I added some balsamic vinegar to the dressing with olive oil. Great quick salad.

Banana Crumb Muffins

Reviewed: Jan. 13, 2006
Very nice. I added some rolled oats in place of part of the flour and replaced butter with banana yoghurt. Moist inside and crumbly on top. One disadvantage - they are kind of hard to remove from the cases because of sticky topping. Thank you!

This just did not taste Indian at all, was very bland, like potato stew with chilli. Definetely needs lots, lots more spices!

Good basic side dish. Goes well with fish. Needs a bit longer cooking time though.

Caramelized Red Bell Peppers and Onions

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2006
Absolutely lovely! Hubby loved it with some fresh foccacia bread. So easy and yummy. I used only oil, though, no butter and added some thyme as had no basil. I also added some balsamic vinegar instead of wine. Definetely one to make again and again. Thanks so much!

Keerti's Karwari Prawns

Quite a good recipe but I felt that something was missing. Maybe it is because the only spices are chilli and turmeric. Will try with some mustard seeds and garam masala next time. Thanks for the recipe anyway!

I am afraid I must say it was quite disappointing. The flavour is bland and it is dry and too gooey at the same time.
