Arkansas Green Beans

My boyfriend and I really enjoyed this recipe... First I did the recipe as is - which was fantastic tasting. I do prefer fresh green beans over the canned though. My boyfriend loves Asparagus, so he requested that I add that as a variation. Second time around, I did 2lbs of fresh green beans and 1lb of fresh Asparagus. When doing the sauce, I kept everything the same (except I did not realize I had no brown sugar - so I substituted regular sugar with molasses.)

Portobello Penne Pasta Casserole

This recipe was excellent, I did the same thing another user did - I substituted the spinach with broccoli. I really enjoyed it, and so did the guest that came to my household.

Chewiest Brownies

Texas BBQ Chicken

This recipe was excellent. It tasted wonderful, and smelled wonderful. I just made two alterations: Apple Cider Vineger instead of White Vineger and Splenda instead of Brown Sugar.

Country Pie

Tasted good, but the direction should say to put it in a deep dish pie pan. The rice was heaping over so when I put the cheese on for the last 10 minutes, some of it melted off the top - to the bottom of the oven.

Swiss Chicken

This recipe was way to watery, I even got the real Campbell's condensed cream of chicken. But despite it being watery it did tastes good. Oh yeah, I think the amount of breadcrumbs that it calls for is purfect.

Heather's Healthy Oatmeal Surprises

This is an excellent recipe. Unfortunately I did not have peanut butter chip - so I did just chocolate chip. I also did not have brown sugar so I put two tablespoons of molasses. Instead of white sugar, I put splenda. I'm hoping to have peanut butter chips next time.

I thought it was ok. Since mostly everybody said there was not enough spice I added another taco seasoning packet. I added some hot sauce and I cooked the tortillas in oil before I put it in.

Taco Lasagna

This was a great recipe. I did 4 noodles in each layer. Used spegghetti sauce along with the taco seasoning. I did not measure the cheese, so I just did a pound of it grated. Instead of chips, I use a box of tacos crushed. I cooked it at 350 in the oven for 40 minutes.

Mediterranean Lemon Chicken

This recipes is great, I actually made it with 6 chicken thighs, and added a 1/4 cup more lemon juice. I cooked it at 475 the first 20 minutes, then dropped the temperature to 300 for an hour. I kept the foil on the whole time. It was very tasty.

Easy Chocolate Tofu Pie

This recipe is incredible!! I even substituted Splenda for the sugar and it tasted great. By the way when using Splenda it knocks 90 calories off each serving.
