Quick and Easy Chicken

Reviewed: Sep. 28, 2012
Made this last night and was a little worried, but it turned out great. Tripled the sauce and only used a tsp. of sugar and sprinkle of pepper (I'm not a pepper lover). Cut the chicken into strips so it would cook a little faster. My husband loved it! Will definitely make again.

Cheesy Potatoes

Reviewed: Oct. 19, 2010
Easy and delicous! Added 2 T of milk and added the cheese half way through cooking. Cubed mine; make sure they are same size and stir before adding cheese. Had a few hard ones, so cooked about 5-6 minutes longer. Reheated great, too!

Barbecue Beef Cups

Reviewed: Aug. 29, 2007
Made the other night for dinner and the whole family loved them. Used Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ Sauce and they tasted fine -- even microwaved well the next day. I will use a little more sauce next time -- seemed a little dry after baking.

Zucchini Bread IV

Reviewed: Aug. 20, 2007
Made recipe as is and it was great. Didn't last long in my house. I might try substituting half the oil with applesauce next time, but great as is!

Barbeque Pork Two Ways

Reviewed: Oct. 26, 2006
Absolutely delicious -- I'd give it more stars if I could! My entire family absolutely loved this (how rare is that!) and I will certainly make again. The only change I made was substituted 1 cup barbeque sauce for 1 cup ketchup.

Lazy Golumbkis

Reviewed: Oct. 11, 2006
I'm a bohunk and grew up on my mom's stuffed cabbage and this is a close second and much easier! I did brown the ground meat with some onions first and added lipton onion soup mix after. White, uncooked regular rice worked fine. I added 1 can of tomato soup and 1/2 cup water and poured over top of the layers without stirring. Came out great! The only thing I'd change for next time is add some sourkraut on top and use one more can of soup for more sauce. YUMMY!

Slow Cooker Cranberry Roast

Reviewed: Apr. 13, 2006
I was a little nervous not adding any liquid to this recipe and leaving it on all day, but no need to worry. My husband loved this; I felt it needed a little something flavor wise (maybe a second envelope of Onion Soup next time).

Angel Chicken Pasta

Reviewed: Apr. 7, 2006
My family loves this! The recipe I have is actually a slow cooker recipe and the ingredients are doubled as follows: 1/2 C butter, 2 pkgs dry italin dressing, 1 C white wine, 2 Cans golden mushroom soup, 8 oz tub cream cheese w/chives & onion. Place chicken in slow cooker, pour melted ingredients over chicken, cover and cook on low for 4 to 5 hours. I serve over penne pasta.

Easy Slow Cooker French Dip

Reviewed: Jan. 25, 2006
Delicious! I think I'll increase the cooking time about an hour next time to make the meat a little more tender, but the flavor was excellent!

Island Kielbasa in a Slow Cooker

Reviewed: Jan. 24, 2006
I printed this out a few years ago and finally made it this weekend. I wish I would have read the reviews first, because I, too, found it way too sweet. If I made again, I would certainly cut the brown sugar down to 1 cup. Good tasting, though.

Spinach Roll-Ups

Reviewed: Dec. 20, 2005
These are delicious...they cut a little easier if you freeze the roll-up for an hour or so.

Cream Cheese Penguins

Reviewed: Dec. 20, 2005
I had forgotten about this great recipe. Very labor intensive, but worth it -- they were a big hit at my party. I would use flavored cream cheese next time for a little more taste. I used the whipped cream cheese and it worked fine. Also, cut the beaks thin or the olives will split.
