Hamburger Steak with Onions and Gravy

This was really good. I didn't have any cooking sherry but don't think it would have changed the taste. I also doubled the amount of gravy.

Banana Muffins II

I made this according to the recipe. They were great. I will definitely be making them again. I made them in the large muffin tin and it yielded 6 muffins. They were especially good the next day--you could really taste the banana in them.

Amazing Pecan Coffee Cake

I was trying to duplicate the reduced fat cinnamon-swirl coffee cake at starbucks. This is very close. I baked this in two loaf pans. I put about a cup of batter in each pan and put a layer of brown sugar and cinnamon on top of the batter. I then put some more batter on top of the sugar and cinnamon. I then mixed some sugar, cinnamon, and brown sugar and sprinkled over the top. I left out the pecans because my family doesn't like nuts cooked in anything. I also used lite sour cream. This cake was even better the next day.

Grilled Marinated Shrimp

These were very good. I substituted ketchup for the tomato paste and did not use as much olive oil. Next time I will follow the suggestion to sprinkle a little of Emeril's essence on them before grilling.

Banana Cake X

I used a butter recipe golden cake mis. It was great. I usually use the banana cake mix but I was out and only had the yellow mix. I decided to give it a try. Everyone said it was better than the banana cake mix. Cake was very moist. I made an icing from mashed bananas, 2 T margarine and a box of confectioner sugar.

Cheese Herb Bread

I followed several other suggestions from the reviews. I added some garlic powder and substituted olive oil for the margarine. I also divided the dough and made 2 round loaves, baked at 450 for 8-10 minutes. Our favorite Italian resturant in town serves bread very similar to this. It was wonderful. I will definitely make this again.
