Gooey Butter Cookies
I used Duncan Hines' "Butter Recipie Golden" and I have gotten rave reviews!
I mixed the dough and let it rest in the refrigerator until the next day. Then I rolled them into small (smaller than a walnut) balls then rolled them in 10x sugar to coat them. About half of the cookies I baked in the ball shape. The other half I formed into the ball, rolled in the sugar, then flattened them a bit by pressing them down onto the cookie sheet. I think that they were better WITHOUT flattening them.
Either way, they took almost the full 13 minutes to bake.
I cannot wait to try another flavor of cake mix!
