Indian Turkey Burgers With Lime, Cucumbers, and Chutney
These turned out great. Instead of buying all of the spices separately (because I didn't have several of them on hand), I just bought Garam Masala and used 1.5 teaspoons in the burgers and the flavor was great. I also used only 1 Tbls of ginger because I used a micro-plane and you get a LOT of ginger in one Tbsp when you do that.

Hot Breakfast Couscous
WAY too much cinnamon. Also, I cut the entire recipe in half and there wasn't nearly enough milk! I don't think that the couscous to liquid ratio should be one to one, espesially for a breakfast cereal! This had the consistancy of a very dry rice dish! Could be a good starting point to make some revisions and come up with something good though!

Gooey Butter Cookies
I used Duncan Hines' "Butter Recipie Golden" and I have gotten rave reviews! I mixed the dough and let it rest in the refrigerator until the next day. Then I rolled them into small (smaller than a walnut) balls then rolled them in 10x sugar to coat them. About half of the cookies I baked in the ball shape. The other half I formed into the ball, rolled in the sugar, then flattened them a bit by pressing them down onto the cookie sheet. I think that they were better WITHOUT flattening them. Either way, they took almost the full 13 minutes to bake. I cannot wait to try another flavor of cake mix!
