Bacon Ranch Pasta Salad

I made a half batch of this last night for dinner and was amazed at how good it was, probably the best pasta salad I've ever had/made. The few things I changed were: 1) seasoned the pasta with salt AND garlic salt while it boiled, 2) seasoned the bacon with garlic pepper while it cooked, 3) added 1/2 cup (would be a full cup for a normal batch obviously) of both carrots and peas, 4) didn't use tomatoes at all since my daughter won't even touch a tomato, and 5) didn't add milk, which I didn't even realize until right before writing this review. Since I seasoned the pasta and the bacon, I did NOT add any extra seasonings besides the ranch. It was fantastic! I loved that that the ranch flavor wasn't over-powering. Maybe next time I'll remember the milk but I won't be upset if I forget to add it again. Definitely a keeper recipe!

Easy Herb Rice

This is so easy and tasty. This is the second I've made this. I followed the recipe but used long grain brown rice instead of white, chicken bullion instead of beef, and added 1 tbsp butter and a 1 tsp of salt, as per rice cooking package instructions, 1 tsp refrigerated minced garlic, and Parmesan cheese to taste after cooking. The cooking time was 45 minutes with the brown rice, again as per rice package instructions, and I used 2 and 3/4 cups hot water. The first time I made it I used minute brown rice and chicken broth instead of water and bullion. The cooking time was a lot quicker, obviously, but I needed to I add an extra 1/4 cup of broth to moisten it. I also added a tbsp or two of Kerrygold's herbed butter and Parmesan cheese after the rice was done cooking.

Honey Glazed Ham

This was so good! We don't even like ham all that well but my whole family loved this! Definitely a keeper! I followed suggestions from other reviews using 1/2 cup brown sugar, 1/4 cup honey, 1/2 tsp ground cloves, and 1/3 cup butter. I put the ham on the roasting rack in the Ninja 3-in-1 slow cooker set to the oven setting at 325° for 1 hour and 15 minutes, basting every 10 minutes. I put baby carrots under the the roasting rack and added one can of ginger ale. The only thing I would do differently is that I wouldn't score it next time as the top came out a little dry. I might turn it over halfway through next time. I don't think I'll be trying many other ham recipes now.
