Pumpkin Gingerbread

Reviewed: Nov. 8, 2013
I only gave this three stars as I feel like this recipe doesn't allow the bread much pumpkin flavor to come through. My favorite things to bake are pumpkin, banana and apple breads and this recipe called for entirely too much sugar, and I can't say it enough little pumpkin flavor. I have tried the Downeast Maine Pumpkin bread recipe and I prefer that much more.

Taco Pasta Salad

Reviewed: Oct. 29, 2010
Very tasty as a lunch, or side dish for dinner. Great with chopped baby spinach instead of lettuce. I also skipped the onion and green pepper, I don't associate those with taco's either. The french dressing is a nice touch. Easy and I would make it again anytime.

Caramel Brownies

These brownies are a huge hit with my friends and family. We have nut allergies so I skipped the nuts. Much tastier if you add 1t of vanilla.

Buffalo Chicken Dip

Reviewed: Jan. 14, 2007
I made this for a Christmas party and everyone LOVED it. I really think it is quite tasty and prefer it a little spicy so I added a little more Frank's Hot Sauce but otherwise I think it's best left as is. Excellent with Celery and Chicken in a biskit crackers.

Peanut Butter Fudge Bars

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2007
I am sorry to say I was disappointed with this recipe. The leftover mixture you are supposed to "crumble" on top is not able to be crumbled. When I baked it and was finally golden brown on top it had already burned the bottom of the bars and tasted terrible. I wouldn't rule out trying to make the bars again, however I would maybe suggest using less peanut butter so that you can crumble the mix on top, and would pull them out of the oven before they start to appear golden brown on top.

Heavenly Cake

Reviewed: May 6, 2005
I followed this recipe to a T and when it comes to cooking baking is my forte. I was not impressed with this recipe. A suggested improvement would be that it could use a glaze type frosting made from milk & powdered sugar.

Baked Ziti I

Reviewed: Mar. 14, 2005
I made this dish, tho I substituted Marinara sauce for the spaghetti sauce and used more mozzarella cheese instead of the provolone and added Italian seasonings to the ground beef. My boyfriend and I loved it! It was very delicious. This recipe makes a lot of food.

Easy Chocolate Fudge Cake

Reviewed: Feb. 14, 2005
I made this cake on 2/13/05, I used Devil's Food Cake mix and skipped the walnuts, but this was one of the BEST desserts I have ever had. Make this for your Chocolate lovers, it is kind of rich and best served with ice cream, cool whip or something cool.
