Good flavor...added the glaze on top as per other reviewers suggestions. Kids liked these a lot. Thanks!

Tacos in Pasta Shells

Reviewed: Sep. 29, 2009
The recipe as is is ok...I added a can of diced tomatoes to add moisture while the shells were cooking. I think it needs more to the filling, maybe onions and peppers or something to give it more flavor and texture. Good idea, will try again, with changes.

Sugar Cookie Icing

Reviewed: Dec. 19, 2008
Very good recipe that dries to the shiny finish you're looking for. It definitely needed more liquid in order to get the right consistency. It was dry crumbles when I followed the recipe. I just kept adding more extract, milk and syrup in order to work. The taste improved after it went on and dried on the cookies.

Brooke's Best Bombshell Brownies

Reviewed: May 12, 2008
Excellent recipe...very fudgy and chocolatey. I turned the chips in a little bit of flour, so that they didn't just sink into the brownie. Excellent as written.

Mississippi Mud Brownies

Reviewed: Apr. 3, 2008
Wow, was I disappointed in these. I'm really sorry to do this, because I have never left a bad review for a recipe, but these did not work. I am a regular and experienced baker, and I followed the recipe as written. What resulted was a gooey, sweet mess. I gave it two stars because the kids ate them, but they were impossible to cut, did not look very good, and dit not have a great chocolate flavor. All you taste is sweet melted marshmallow, and you never get chocolate. If you like extremely sweet things, plan on scooping these out with a spoon, because they will not cut.

Chocolate Brownies with Fewer Calories

Reviewed: Feb. 9, 2007
Sorry to be negative, but these were terrible. Very cakey, lacking chocolately flavor. Tastes like something my daughter would make in her easy bake oven.

So Delicious!!!! Moist, chocolatey, yummy brownies. So much better than a box mix, and so easy to make. Thanks so much for this recipe!

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Sep. 29, 2005
Excellent cookies! I usually make Nestle's, and wanted to try a different recipe for a change. They are extremely soft and delicious. I did not change a thing, and would not alter the recipe at all, other than to try different varieties of chips. Thanks!

Chocolate Peanut Butter Squares

Reviewed: Aug. 13, 2005
Great crowd pleaser. I would suggest using melting candy coating (available in craft stores or Walmart) to cover the top of these. It is easier to spread than the topping suggested here, and has a nicer finish look.

Brownie Mix in a Jar II

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2005
This is my new brownie recipe - does not even compare to a box of mix. I did follow suggestions to change butter/egg amounts, added chips and did not add nuts as personal preference. Absolute raves for these - Thanks for the recipe!
