Crisp Oatmeal Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2006
I have very little experience making cookies. Tried these as I like warm yet crisp oatmeal cookies. AWESOME! Didn't have coconut and only used choc chips but I'll try the coconut sometime too. AWESOME. Don't eat too many!

Korean BBQ Short Ribs (Gal-Bi)

Reviewed: Sep. 29, 2008
I am updating review... I now LOVE it. Versatile like no other. I was searching for an easy crockpot (quick version is to simmer in pot on stove) recipe for beef ribs for two people. I didn't have time to let them marinate. I didn't have sesame oil and I used olive oil, eyeballed all other ingredients. I slow cooked them for about 5 hours (2 hours for simmering, be sure to use onion & garlic if nothing else) and they were about to fall apart. We threw them on the bbq and used Pappy's White Lightning bbq sauce from Bass Pro Shop. YUM! The ribs were so tender, so tasty even before we put the bbq sauce on. You might not need oil if you are slow cooking this as my ribs were already fatty, but I won't take anything away from this simple and flexible recipe. We used to bake our ribs before bbq but my husband wants me to do them this way from now on. THANK YOU!

Roast Sticky Chicken-Rotisserie Style

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2009
I made this on Sunday, cut it back to one chicken and followed rub recipe with with the exception of cayenne because I forgot to pick some up. Stuffed the peeled onion inside as recommended and only had 2 hours to let it sit in fridge. The onion helped the chicken stay put on the rotisserie rod. I baked at 250 in a convection oven on a rotisserie rod for about 4 hours with a small pan of chicken broth under it to catch drippings. BOY WAS IT MOIST & DELICIOS. I used the broth to boil some red potatoes and they were NUM NUM. I'll let the chicken marinate longer next time and will add the cayenne. This was my first rotisserie style chicken and I outdid myself with the help of this recipe. I didn't find it too salty however I didn't eat the skin. Everyone can cook if they know about allrecipes.com, love it.

Lime Chicken Soft Tacos

Reviewed: Aug. 22, 2009
Quick, easy, tasty! Suprisingly, Incredibly tasty. Therefore, 5 STARS HERE! I used lots of fresh cilantro instead of oregano too and ended up doubling my sauce. I was looking for a chicken taco recipe, thought I'd end up roasting chile's, prepping and cooking all day. Glad I spared myself. I'm thinking this would make a great base for tequila lime chicken fettucine too. Thank you and no wonder the reviews keep coming. I'm going to try hard corn shell with this too. I raved to my hubby for days.

Sweet Mustard Chicken Bake

Reviewed: Oct. 28, 2010
OMG... I really liked this recipe. I used coarse ground dijon mustard. I also cut down on the butter. Be sure to baste it as the recipe calls for. I will make extra sauce next time so that I can drizzle it on rice and serve along with the chicken. This one will be in my regular rotation. So quick and easy and you can eyeball the ingredients. THANK YOU!

Hazel's Meatballs

Reviewed: Mar. 24, 2011
These were just okay. You can really smell and taste the vinegar. I tried this because I have a ketchup & mustard lover in the house. I liked them smothered with gravy and potatoes. Easy recipe though so I'll give it 3.

Chicken Milano

Reviewed: Oct. 3, 2013
Very, very delicious made just the way described. I was cooking the sauce and my boyfriend was sniffing the air, and very curious about what I was doing. Then, I started steaming broccli and that drove him right out of the kitchen. LOL! What I am trying to say is it tastes and smells wonderful, and it is very filling. I'm going to try zuchini noodles with it next time.
