Sharktooth Pasta

Reviewed: Jun. 16, 2011
This recipe is a great start. Like other reviewers I felt it needed a little help. I cooked chicken in better than chicken bouillon (1tsp), garlic, and evoo. Diced chicken. To the sauce I added 1 can diced tomatoes, (1tsp) better than chicken bouillon, large can (family size) cream of chicken soup, 1 c milk. 4 leaves fresh basil, sprig fresh thyme, and a little bit of fresh Rosemary. Simmered 5 min. Added 1c parmesan cheese, 1 c cheddar. Then blended sauce in blender (to hide tomatoes and herbs from picky kidos) ;) returned to pan added pasta (16 oz) and chicken. Viola they loved it! Adults add hot sauce yummo!!

Caramel Apple Pork Chops

Reviewed: Dec. 15, 2007
I only made the apple portion of this recipe to serve w/ my chops. It was great! I would say it is much like the candied apples you can buy at Boston Market, but, these are better!!!!!!

Bacon Wrapped Pork Chops

Reviewed: Dec. 15, 2007
Best things in life are simple, just like this recipe! It is very rich in calories so we won't make it all the time but we will keep making it! I am sure the recipe as-is, is great. However I didn't have cheese sauce so I topped them with half a piece of sliced cheddar (sandwich cheese), and it was still great. Don't expect the bacon to wrap around unless you have silver dollar size chops, just lay it on top and don't worry about it! Super Recipe, thanks for sharing!

Saucy Lima Beans

Reviewed: Sep. 30, 2007
I loved this recipe. I had originally started to make a different recipe before I saw this one, and decided that I liked the creaminess of this one better. Because of that I started with dried limas (therefore my cooking time was longer) and I had cooked them in chicken broth (made from boullion)being southern I also added a ham hock (couldn't resist). Then I added the rest of the ingredients following this recipe. Wonderful, Wonderful, Wonderful, Even my picky eaters ate these beans!!!!!!

Flatlander Chili

Reviewed: Oct. 16, 2006
Wow what a great recipe. I found this recipe as a way to use leftover redbeans i had made. I only used ingredients on hand, since i didn't have everything so i improvised. I used V-8 juice, Mild Rotel chopped tomatoes, salsa and 3/4 of a corona to make up the volume. Left over red beans with the sauce it had made. Italian seasoning (as I had no oregano). And I added a can of corn. MY KIDS WHO EAT NOTHING, ATE THIS AND LOVED IT. Grade A recipe that can be made a thousand way. Thank you sooo much for sharing.

Double Cheese Casserole

Reviewed: May 23, 2005
I am mother to the two most picky eaters and they loved this dish!!! I made only minor adjustments. I pre-seasoned the beef with pepper, lowery's seasoning salt, and garlic powder. Then before popping it in the oven I added 2c. mozzarella cheese 1c. stirred in 1c. on top.
