Cream Of Chicken Soup

This was exactly the type of recipe I was looking for as a good base for casseroles that call for cream of chicken soup. I was looking for something without all the sodium and preservatives that canned soup has. I did not use the sugar as others mentioned they did not like the sweet taste. I did use fresh garlic, one clove. I think that I have gotten so used to eating sodium laden prepared foods that it's hard sometimes to get used to something that's not oversalted. But, I will definitely use it in my casseroles, and it had a really nice flavor.

Orange Sherbet Gelatin Mold

I made it exactly as the author wrote and had no trouble with it setting up. I'm not sure why some people might. Could altitude have anything to do with it? We had this for special family meals when I was younger. My aunt made this and I still love it.

Asparagus and Tomato Salad with Yogurt-Cheese Dressing

Beautiful salad and very tasty. Since I had to start limiting my salt, I've started getting used to enjoying the flavors of foods without it. This is one recipe I will use again and share with my friends.

Barley Mushroom Risotto

I really like this recipe. I found it to be very flavorful. The only changes I made were minimal and that was to not put in the bay leaf as I don't care for it. Otherwise a very good recipe.

Campbell's® Quick and Easy Chicken, Broccoli and Brown Rice Dinner

This was really good, as well as easy and quick to make! My grandchildren were here and asked for seconds! Even the four-year-old. That was a miracle in and of itself.

Chinese Chicken and Potato Soup

I browned the chicken first, after cutting it up in small pieces (I only had breast meat). I used a tsp. of olive oil. I thought it was very flavorful and simple. Great for the cold winter Michigan days.

Easy Cheap and Yummy Casserole

I was surprised how good this was! I used turkey hotdogs, just to try and make it a little healthier. I really like corndogs, and this has a similar taste. However, I think I like the casserole even better! I had to race my grandchildren to the dish so that I could get seconds too, haha. I may try a little grated cheese in the cornbread mix sometime, but that may be too many different flavors.

Basil, Tomato and Mozzarella Sandwich

Excellent sandwich. I had just some ciabatta rolls and didn't use red pepper flakes as I don't care for it. I followed others' suggestions to add a little olive oil (EVOO) to the vinegar and just put on the sandwich itself rather than dipping. Toasted it as was suggested, too. Will eat this again! It was a 4.5 really for me.

Inside-Out Manicotti

I made this just as, and almost everyone, but the two-year-old grandson, really liked it and came back for seconds. I will make this recipe again and try it with some type of meat, as suggested, sometime. Thanks for a really good and easy recipe.

Beezie's Black Bean Soup

This was excellent. I didn't know how much I'd like black beans, mostly because I've never really eaten them much. We always used white beans where I grew up. This was suprisingly good and I'd certainly make it again!

Broccoli Lasagna

This was a great basic recipe. I used it with fettucine noodles, and thought the amount of salt was just right. However, it wouldn't be difficult to add more for those who like things saltier.

Easy Ground Beef Stroganoff

This is very similar to the Stroganoff I used to make for my family. However, I used no cubes and added sour cream at the end after I removed it from the heat. We served over noodles. It might not be "real" strognaoff, but the idea is that it is easy, tasty, and simple. My family always loved it. I did try this a few weeks ago (?) and found that using the bouillon made it too salty for me, too.

Monte Cristo Sandwich

I tried this tonight. My favorite restaurant makes these and I always wondered exactly how they made them. I never thought I'd like this, but once I tried it, there was no going back. This version is very much like the one I had with the powdered sugar and raspberry jam. Only difference was their batter was thicker. Still this is good!

Bow Ties with Sausage, Tomatoes and Cream

Since I don't like spicy food very well, I omitted the red pepper falkes, used low fat turkey sausage, and FF half and half (like other raters suggested) to make it lower in fat and not so hot. I also used the diced tomatoes with basil added because I already had the can at home. This was a very good recipe and I'll definitely make it again. I may try some of the other additions that other made, such as mushrooms for example.

Pumpkin Turkey Chili

The adults thought it was okay, and the children in the family were not having any of it. I tried the recipe because it sounded so interesting. I probably would not make it again, or if I do, I'll play around with the spices or something. It was fun, though, to try out something that is unique. Simple to make.

Almost Eggless Egg Salad

I really liked this. I am just beginning to use tofu, so I might love it if you ask me six months from now. I changed the sweet relish to dill relish because I prefer it over the sweet.
