Rich Chocolate Chip Toffee Bars

I loved these. They were easy to make, (don't melt the butter). I was a little worried about them being too sweet so I cut the toffee in half. They were still great and would probably have been great with all the toffee.

Cranberry Sauce I

I never made cranberry sauce before but this was so easy and good. Only problem is it makes a lot. Unless you are making it for a large group, cut it in half.(You can freeze the extra cranberries.)

Unbelievable Rolls

I agree that this recipe could have slightly more specific directions, but mine did look like the picture. It says 16 servings. Was that supposed to be 16 rolls or 2 rolls per serving. I was able to make 32. Anyway, I cooked mine 15 mins and they were a bit dark on the botton and I put them on the center rack. They taste so much better the second day.

Pumpkin Apple Streusel Muffins

These were great. I used walnuts and raisins instead of apples because I prefer them. This was so good, easy to make, and the topping made them even better. A keeper.

Chinese Cookies

I used to buy these when I was a kid and loved them. i get them every time I go home for a visit and was glad to see the recipe. I used margarine instead of shortening because I had it on hand that day. It gave them a bit of a sugar cookie taste but they were still really good. I will try shortening next time and see if they turn out more like the ones in the store. Awesome cookies though.

Peking Pork Chops

Instead of cooking this in a crock pot, I put it in a casserole dish and cooked for about 40 minutes in oven. The sauce gave good flavor without saturating the chops like it would in the crock pot.

Irish Soda Bread IV

I think the recipe should be 1/4 cup of buttermilk. I looked at a few others and that looked about right. Anyway, it turned out pretty good. I added raisins and fennel because I used to know someone that made it that way and it was always a big hit.

Best Brownies

This recipe had a good flavor but I like my brownies a little more cakey. If I make them again I will try using half the butter. These were a bit too much like raw batter in the middle and I cooked the full 30 mins.
