These were great, everyone loved them. I don't make them often because you just can't stop eating them. Very addicting.

Rich Chocolate Chip Toffee Bars

Reviewed: May 22, 2006
I loved these. They were easy to make, (don't melt the butter). I was a little worried about them being too sweet so I cut the toffee in half. They were still great and would probably have been great with all the toffee.

Cranberry Sauce I

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2005
I never made cranberry sauce before but this was so easy and good. Only problem is it makes a lot. Unless you are making it for a large group, cut it in half.(You can freeze the extra cranberries.)

Unbelievable Rolls

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2005
I agree that this recipe could have slightly more specific directions, but mine did look like the picture. It says 16 servings. Was that supposed to be 16 rolls or 2 rolls per serving. I was able to make 32. Anyway, I cooked mine 15 mins and they were a bit dark on the botton and I put them on the center rack. They taste so much better the second day.

Pumpkin Apple Streusel Muffins

Reviewed: Oct. 8, 2005
These were great. I used walnuts and raisins instead of apples because I prefer them. This was so good, easy to make, and the topping made them even better. A keeper.

Chinese Cookies

Reviewed: Apr. 17, 2005
I used to buy these when I was a kid and loved them. i get them every time I go home for a visit and was glad to see the recipe. I used margarine instead of shortening because I had it on hand that day. It gave them a bit of a sugar cookie taste but they were still really good. I will try shortening next time and see if they turn out more like the ones in the store. Awesome cookies though.

Mrs. Sigg's Snickerdoodles

Reviewed: Apr. 15, 2005
These were great. I made the cookies a little big in the first batch and they spread a lot. They turned out good anyway. My kids loved these.

Peking Pork Chops

Reviewed: Mar. 16, 2005
Instead of cooking this in a crock pot, I put it in a casserole dish and cooked for about 40 minutes in oven. The sauce gave good flavor without saturating the chops like it would in the crock pot.

Irish Soda Bread IV

Reviewed: Mar. 16, 2005
I think the recipe should be 1/4 cup of buttermilk. I looked at a few others and that looked about right. Anyway, it turned out pretty good. I added raisins and fennel because I used to know someone that made it that way and it was always a big hit.

Best Brownies

Reviewed: Feb. 9, 2005
This recipe had a good flavor but I like my brownies a little more cakey. If I make them again I will try using half the butter. These were a bit too much like raw batter in the middle and I cooked the full 30 mins.

Made this for a party and everyone loved it. Very simple. I did cut back a bit on the onion and olives.
