Chinese Lion's Head Soup

Didn't have napa cabbage so used regular head of cabbage. Simple recipe with wonderful flavor. Would definitely recommend.

Spooky Witches' Fingers

Very cute idea and easy to make. They were very well received. Sadly, they are tasteless and bland. They are almost a shortbread cookie but less sweet. My advice is to add more sugar otherwise it will taste like a flour cookie.

Extremely good. I loved the texture from the onions and celery. There has been mentioned that the onions and celery do not give it much taste. I recommend using finely chopped white onions. They added flavor to my recipe.

Horseradish Deviled Eggs

They were just o.k.. The horseradish is truly the only flavor you pick up when you eat these. I love horseradish but there just wasn't much taste besides that.

Red Velvet Cake IV

Wonderful. I have made this cake twice and realized some mistakes. The first time I used liquid food coloring which I thought made a nicer color than the gel I used the second time. The first time I only had one cake pan so I had to cook three different times for 30 minutes each which made an outstanding dense cake. This last time I was prepared but the cake was over cooked at 40 minutes and came out a bit dry. The icing ages beautifully. It was the best on day three in our frig.. It's a keeper recipe.

Grilled Mahi Mahi with Roasted Pepper Sauce and Cilantro Pesto

We thought it was wonderful! We kind of just made it with what we already had in the refrigerator. We omitted roasted red peppers (didn't have them) and substituted the walnuts with pecans. Makes a very rich sauce. Yum.

Chicken Stew With Coconut Milk

Made it one time on the stove and wasn't crazy about it. The second time I followed the directions and used the microwave. From the microwave I got much better tasting results. The spices were stronger and the consistency was thicker. Would make again.

Coconut Curry Fish

Thought it was an excellent dish. I used tilapia instead of cod and fresh vegetables sauted that I already had in the refrigerator. It was quick and easy and the best tasting Indian dish I've made yet. Highly recommended.

Broiled Tilapia Parmesan

It is not that exciting of a recipe however I got my kids to eat it (4 stars). You have to be willing to take a completly healthy piece of fish and turn it fatty. It's like making baked chicken into fried chicken.
