About this Cook
You don't have to have all the recommended equipment or even ingredients to make delicious food! I'm a college girl who loves making her friends a 3 course dinner on Friday nights with just a pot, mixing bowl, and and frying pan. I use muffin tins to make meatloaf. I've used a tennis racket as a strainer. The point is, if you love to cook, you can find a way!
My favorite things to cook
Anything worth cooking has butter, sugar, or meat in it. Comfort food is one of life's greatest joys.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Eggnog, meatloaf, my Aunt Rose's famous coffee cake, and a molasses cookie recipe that has been passed down for generations.
My cooking triumphs
I consider a recipe a triumph if the person I'm cooking for absolutely loves it. My molasses cookies are especially a hit. My boyfriend, family, and even professors ask me to make them continuously.
My cooking tragedies
I have a bad habit of overlooking important information in new recipes that I'm trying. Forgetting to add eggs to a batter, starting to cook something without adding all the ingredients, and adding way too much of something are common problems.

Chocolate Cookie Cheesecake
Amazing cheesecake! Definitely worth the wait. I wouldn't make it though unless you're serving at least 6 people. I made it for me and and my boyfriend for his birthday because he LOVES cheesecake and we had leftovers for 2+ weeks. Delicious though. The topping was a little lumpy, but still delicious.

Grands!(R) Mini Chicken Pot Pies
This recipe is ok as written. It becomes infinitely better if you add some chopped onion, salt, pepper, and maybe garlic depending on taste.
