Honey Bun Cake I

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2005
This cake was fabulous. I got many great comments. I took it to work and the people loved it and are asking for it again. The only thing I personally would do is add some nuts!! Then it would be more like a cinnamon roll! Yummy-will make again for sure!!!

Fruited Ice Cream

Reviewed: Jun. 1, 2009
Yum, Yum, Yum! This was such an easy recipe! I halfed the recipe due to that it really made a lot-now I wished I'd made the entire amount and put it in the freezer for summer! The only thing I did different in this recipe is took the advice of others: I wanted creamy strawberry and not chuncks in the ice cream, so I put my strawberries in a pot over low heat, added a few tablespoons of sugar and smashed the strawberries with a fork, this made them more pureed and that is what I wanted in my ice cream. It worked great! It was so creamy-thanks for a great recipe that I will for sure make again this summer!

Easy Ham and Cheese Appetizer Sandwiches

Reviewed: Apr. 20, 2009
Yum yum! Great recipe, my aunt used to make these at Christmas time each year so when I saw the recipe I had to try them. Took them to a 50th b-day party as an appetizer and they were gobbled right up! Everyone just loved them, as I did as well.

Strawberry Pie II

Reviewed: May 11, 2009
Great recipe! My mom said it was perfect and looked like the cover of a magazine! I did use 2 cups smashed berries for the filling and the other 2 cups, I sliced the berries in half because I had huge berries. Will make again soon!

To Die For Blueberry Muffins

Reviewed: Jun. 17, 2009
This is a wonderful recipe! It is a wonderful muffin recipe to use with many different fruits. The only change I made was to use brown sugar in the topping. These muffins were HUGE and so very awesome! I will use over again and again. These are bakery quality muffins. Next time I will double the recipe!

Made this for a meeting at work and everyone raved about it over and over. For sure a keeper. Liked this recipe alot due to it having the pineapple, raisins and nuts as a traditional carrot cake has.

The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 18, 2011
These are great sugar cookies. Didnt change the recipe with my first batch and they were good. Added a little more sugar for the 2nd batch and it made them a little sweeter, which I liked better (personal taste). Great for cut out cookies and I rolled out in pwdr sugar and they were yummy! Used sugar cookie icing on this site to glaze the cookies, very impressive cookies!

Country Apple Dumplings

Reviewed: Nov. 13, 2011
Wow is all I can say! So easy and oh my goodness, these are awesome! The sauce that this makes that they bake in is unreal! The only thing I may do different next time is sprinkle cinnamon on the apples when I cut them before I put them in the crescents. But this recipe as is is more than 5 stars good!

These muffins are wonderful! They are really big muffins and my batter made 12 of them. My mom, dad, son and boyfriend all said they were the perfect muffin. World's Best Key Lime Pie

Reviewed: Jun. 21, 2011
This is one great pie! I used fat free condensed milk and light cool whip to lighten the calories/fat up. IT IS AMAZING! My teenage son about ate the entire dessert in 2 days, I did manage to get a couple slices.

Banana Cake VI

Reviewed: Oct. 24, 2011
Yum! This is a great cake! Made this into a 3 layer cake, it is a bit delicate and I had to make and extra 1/2 batch of icing to cover the cake, it is so worth it! Topped the cake with crushed walnuts and have gotten rave reviews! The banana flavor is just right, almost like a light banana nut bread.

Libby's® Pumpkin Cheesecake

Reviewed: Nov. 21, 2011
Yummy! This is a great recipe. I used sugar snap cookies as suggested by others and that really put this over the top! I also used pumpkin pie spice, as that was what I had on hand and it worked out great! I also 1/2 the sourcream topping, because it had mixed reviews, but oh my goodness, the topping is a real treat and balances out the pumpkin taste/spices. Great recipe! I would suggest spraying the springform pan next time and I also cooked this cheesecake in a water bath, as I do with all the cheesecakes I make so they dont crack. Great seasonal recipe!

Fluffy French Toast

Reviewed: Feb. 16, 2009
This french toast was wonderful and EASY. Made this for a special b'fast in bed for Valentine's day and we absolutely loved it! Took others suggestion and sprinkled the cinnamon instead of adding to batter because it floats even when whisked together. Once the toast was done, we used syrup and powdered sugar to top the toast and it was FABULOUS! Great, easy recipe. Will use again and again.

Jamie's Minestrone

Reviewed: Feb. 18, 2009
Loved this recipe. I made half of the recipe and it still made a huge amount. But that is great-packed for lunch the next day for myself and my boyfriend. I did not have oregano and basil so I used an Italian seasoning packet and we are cabbage fans so I used cabbage instead of spinach. Did not have fresh carrots so I used canned sliced carrots. Came out wonderfully! Will make again and again. Very filling and hearty soup.
