Honey Bun Cake I

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2005
This cake was fabulous. I got many great comments. I took it to work and the people loved it and are asking for it again. The only thing I personally would do is add some nuts!! Then it would be more like a cinnamon roll! Yummy-will make again for sure!!!

Red Velvet Cake II

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2005
I really liked this cake. Everyone at work said it was great. It was ate in about 30 minutes flat. The icing is what makes this cake, it is truely a wonderful cream cheese icing. For me, I would have liked a more moist interior cake. Maybe a TBS of sour cream would have done the trick for me. This cake makes the apperance you really worked all day on it, when actually it is pretty east for a red velevet. I WILL MAKE AGAIN!!

Grilled Salmon I

Reviewed: Feb. 4, 2009
This recipe is great! Had a lot of wonderful flavors. I did as others suggested and wrapped the salmon in a foil packet and baked at 450 for 12 min, then uncovered and baked for another 5 minutes. CAME OUT PERFECT. My boyfriend loves salmon and he was very suprised at just how great this was and is wanting to know when I will make it again!

Angel Chicken Pasta

Reviewed: Feb. 4, 2009
This is a great recipe. I made this as suggested by other viewers and did this in the crockpot. I put all ingredients in the crockpot, cut up my chicken and cooked on low for 6 hours. TURNED OUT PERFECT. I did use chicken broth instead of the white wine because that is what I had on hand. Will make again for sure.

Fluffy French Toast

Reviewed: Feb. 16, 2009
This french toast was wonderful and EASY. Made this for a special b'fast in bed for Valentine's day and we absolutely loved it! Took others suggestion and sprinkled the cinnamon instead of adding to batter because it floats even when whisked together. Once the toast was done, we used syrup and powdered sugar to top the toast and it was FABULOUS! Great, easy recipe. Will use again and again.

Buttermilk Pancakes I

Reviewed: Feb. 16, 2009
These were great pancakes! And easier than making the boxed pancake mix! I did not have a blender, so I just whisked the ingredients by hand and they turned out wonderful! This was my first attempt at homemade pancakes and I will make these again and again-VERY EASY and much more yummy than the boxed mix. My family was very impressed!

Jamie's Minestrone

Reviewed: Feb. 18, 2009
Loved this recipe. I made half of the recipe and it still made a huge amount. But that is great-packed for lunch the next day for myself and my boyfriend. I did not have oregano and basil so I used an Italian seasoning packet and we are cabbage fans so I used cabbage instead of spinach. Did not have fresh carrots so I used canned sliced carrots. Came out wonderfully! Will make again and again. Very filling and hearty soup.

Penne with Chicken and Asparagus

Reviewed: Apr. 8, 2009
This is a really good recipe. Very light and not heavy at all. This recipe does not have a sauce but that is what makes it so light and healthy. Just what I was looking for. The only changes I made to the recipe was adding extra garlic and adding other veggies that I love. Added frozen broccoli and mushrooms to the aspargus and cooked as suggested by recipe. WONDERFUL-WONDERFUL. This will be a new staple in my home! Thanks for the wonderful recipe!

Chantal's New York Cheesecake

Reviewed: Apr. 9, 2009
Great, easy cheesecake! I normally make a cheesecake with heavy cream and was looking for a lighter cheesecake and this is it! It still has that wonderful "true" cheesecake texture. It's cheaper to make too! I took the suggestions of other and cooked this in a bath of water and it turned out perfect. No cracks! I cut up strawberries added a little sugar and heated on very low heat and let the strawberries make their own juice, cooled and served on top of the cheesecake. Everyone LOVED it! Great recipe!

Chicken and Broccoli Alfredo

Reviewed: Apr. 15, 2009
Thought this recipe was really good considering the ease of it and the ability to make it low fat. I added garlic and asparagus to the mix. It was really good! I also used the reduced calorie/fat cream soup and low fat milk. It hit the spot for something warm and creamy without a lot of extra calories.
