Crock-Pot® Mushrooms

We love this recipe!! Tonight I added sliced onions to the mushrooms in the crockpot. Gonna add to seasoned ground beef and sour cream. Can't wait for dinner!!

Best Black Beans

I got tired of refried beans as a side every time we made Mexican food. LOVE this recipe! Mixed it with leftover taco meat and homemade spanish rice for lunch for two days after!! MMMMMMMMMM

Spinach Cheddar Bake

Used fresh spinach as well, but was way off on the amount I used....hubby said it was cheese with a little bit of spinach instead of the other way around. But still incredible! I am making it again tonight, with 3x the spinach, we'll see how I did measuring wise this time!!

My first try at lemon meringue and it was GREAT! I made extra meringue. Nice and brown on top, and sweet with tart lemon filling! YUM!

Grilled Salmon I

Made this for our Christmas dinner, and everyone loved it! I marinated it in the soy sauce, sugar, oil and water for an hour or so, then it sat for about half an hour (while we grilled the steaks) and I added pepper, garlic salt and lemon juice at that point. We used foil on the grill.

Wonderful! Husband says better than Campbell's Chunky!! added 2 chicken bouillon cubes to the finished product. Buy your ham already diced and its a cinch to put together!!

Restaurant Style Egg Drop Soup

My daughter had a school project on China and had to bring in an item to share with the class. We made this soup, 3 batches, the night before and did not add the eggs til the next morning and then it sat in a crockpot for 4 hours. All of the children, including my daughter (12) who lives for egg drop soup LOVED this recipe. I will make it again, thank you!!!

Artichoke Spinach Dip

I too added twice the spinach, and twice the artichoke hearts, and used my crockpot. We noticed it needed something after hours of cooking on low heat, my husband added more butter to it, and it got really creamy and the taste finally got there!!! We took the dip with tortilla chips to a friends house on New Years Eve and it was a hit! Thanks!

Cheese and Broccoli Chicken Soup

I used 2 cans of chicken broth, 2 boullion cubes and 9 cups of water.... wasn't sure about the "light cream" so I used 1/2 heavy cream and 1/2 2% milk. My family and I really liked this soup and I have passed it on to my parents who love to cook!! Thanks Rebecca for a great one!!!

Chicken Fried Chicken

Awesome, even my 17 month old ate it. :) I didn't turn frequently, 10 minutes on each side was perfect. Mashed potatoes with country gravy and corn on the cob are great along with it!

My Favorite Soup
