Burrito Pie

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2005
The meat filling is the best I've tasted; however, I won't layer with flour tortillas next time, since it tends to get soggy. Might try just filling individual tortillas and add lettuce and tomato.

Roast Sticky Chicken-Rotisserie Style

Nice - Your house will smell delicious all day! I used olive oil, Adobe and rosemary, and cooked on a broiler pan I sprayed with non-stick spray.

Baked Pork Chops II

Reviewed: Apr. 23, 2007
Sauce is delicious but I changed recipe a bit. Season chops with salt, pepper, garlic powder, then dredge in flour, dip in egg and then bread crumbs. Fry in 1 TB oil about 2 min each side. I then took ALL the ingredients and added the celery seed, mixed them up and poured them over top of chops in covered casserole dish. I LOVE this recipe.

Beef Pot Roast

Reviewed: Aug. 14, 2007
Couple of changes made this recipe to die for. Add 1 can cream of mushroom soup, 1 dissolved beef bouillon, 1/2 cup diced celery & 2 cups water to onion/garlic mix. Also, be sure to sear meat without any seasoning. Once seared, sprinkle both sides with salt, pepper, oregano, and garlic powder. Talk about your fixer-uppers! This makes a 5-star DELISH!!

Original Homemade Italian Beef

Reviewed: Aug. 14, 2007
Made a few changes - add the peppers from the beginning, use french or cuban bread (the hamburger bun just doesn't do it.) Also, toast the bread a few minutes in the oven and then broil some provolone on top, don't forget to pour the juice on! - The recipe is then RIDICULOUSLY DELICIOUS!!!

Baked Pork Spring Rolls

Reviewed: Aug. 14, 2007
PLEASE try this one - the meat mixture is so delicious! Only necessary change was to deep-fry instead of bake. I know it's better not to fry, but come - on, they're spring rolls!!! It really does make the difference.

Beth's Spicy Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

Reviewed: Sep. 20, 2007
These were hands down the best tasting oatmeal cookie I've had - BUT - they all stuck to the cookie pan. Did I do something wrong or do you positively need to use non-stick?

Glazed Apple Cookies

These are yummy cookies. The edges are crispy and inside is fluffy, almost like a muffin. I omitted the raisins and replaced with extra apples. Also added a tad bit of vanilla to the mix.

Braised Balsamic Chicken

Reviewed: Oct. 24, 2007
What a pleasant, healthy tasting dish! A couple of changes - I didn't have balsamic vinegar, so I used 1/2 cup red wine vinegar with 1 tablespoon sugar and reduced it to half (great substitute), then mixed with 1/2 cup chicken broth.
