Well, I had to improvise again, but it worked so I'm passing on.... I didn't have apple cider vinegar, so I used white vinegar, and then I substituted Berry Juicy Juice instead of water. (apple juice would probably work, but I didn't have it on hand at time either.) Added a splash of seasoning sauce because I didn't have a smoker, and cooked on low in my slow cooker. Fantabulous, so I know the original must be Uber Fantabulous.

I like to add sauteed onion and some minced jalapeno pepper (patti labelle idea) to make nice and spicy!!

My sister-in-law told me about kale chips and I about gagged; nevertheless, I took her advice, bought a bag of Glory Greens Kale pre-cut and tossed them with some apple cider vinegar, olive oil and sea salt and they were great! Never ate kale prior to kale chips.

Yee-Haw! These are perfect! Since you only fry the gizzard for a minute or so, it's imperative to boil first to get the flavor and tenderness. I cut gizzards in half before cooking, and use House of Autry Chicken Breader (Publix) to coat. Batter sticks best if you bread them right after the boil, then wait a minute and shake on a second coat. I also sprinkle hot sauce after fried.

Ok - I'm rating this myself because I just used on a Boston Butt for pulled pork and it was Delish if I should say so myself - HA HA! You don't need a slow cooker or a grill to cook - I rubbed roast liberally with spices (if you really like garlic taste just poke a few holes in roast and slide a piece of raw garlic in,) then cook at 250 for about 5 hrs - house smells yummy all day and pork will pull apart easily.

I give this five stars because it is the best combination of ingredients I have tried for Delicata squash. This is NOT the kind of vegetable that tastes good mashed up with vanilla, cream and cinnamon like pumpkin or sweet potato - (believe me, I tried cooking many ways this morning)The lime and spice bring out the flavor the best. You can add a dash of cayenne if you like. Had to upload my picture after cooking - Thanks! P.S. The SEEDS are great too. I rinsed and dried them, then baked at 275 for about 30 min. Next, heat up a tsp or less of olive oil in a pan and add lime juice, salt, chili and cayenne pepper to taste. Mix in your seeds and cook for a minute or less. Spread on paper towel and allow to dry before storing.

Good basic recipe for an easy "what's for dinner" - Added lot more spice ( aunt cora's soulfood seasoning is good)Kind of tastes like the "stuff" in stuffed peppers. If mix starts to dry out when simmering, just add a bit more water or V-8 juice.

Good basic recipe, but IMO tastes a bitt better when you add a bit of milk, and season your potato/onion layer with salt, pepper and onion powder. You can change to au gratin by melting a handful of shredded cheese to wet mixture.

5 Stars for EASY - 4 for taste. Second time I made, I didn't have all the right ingredients, so I modified a bit with crushed Chocolate Chip Teddy Grahams and peanuts for the crust, instant vanilla pudding instead of chocolate, and instant coffee diluted with water instead of liqueur - we liked it just the same.

Forgot how easy a good dinner can be - pound chicken to tenderize and evenly cook.

uhmmmm - ok and kids did eat, but IMO too much sesame oil. Balsamic vinegar is better on its own IMO, not mixed with soy sauce and sesame oil.

Pretty good basic recipe. If you want sweeter, just drizzle a little honey on the top of the grilled chicken after removing from grill.

Pretty good. *Drizzle with honey after cooked if you need sweeter** I floured/fried too, and used less hot sauce and added thinly sliced onions/carrots. Good for buffet for party. If you don't want it sticky keep covered for 10 minutes cooking, turning once. To make sticky, just cover for the first five and then uncover for last. The sauce has to reduce to get sticky. I used two whole breasts and cut real thin.

No need to slice and boil potatoes - just use Homestyle Simply Potatoes - they are perfect! I only needed recipe as a side dish so I used one bag of potatoes, and made a roux using 3Tflour, 3Tbutter, 2 1/4 cup milk, sprinkle of parmesan, and added garlic/onion powder, parsley, celery seed, salt and pepper to taste. Poured over potatoes in greased casserole dish. Broil last few minutes to brown. Started as 4, ended up 5

Pretty good marinade - I added a Tablespoon of Sweet Mirin to mine - thought it added to the flavor.

Pretty good but too much lemon juice and need to add fresh pressed garlic.

Oh man, this is one moist cake. goody-good. i ran out of sugar so had to sub brown sugar - still good. sprinkled cinnamon sugar on top before baking - great cake.

Very quick to put together for potluck or casual dessert, but IMO the topping had way too much sugar, was gritty, and didn't add to the flavor. Next time I'll only use 1/4 sugar in the topping and double the cinnamon. Might add thinly sliced apples on top as well. Was good for a fast cheesecake fix.
