I make this without the sausage all the time and it is by far the best hash brown casserole I've ever had. I am asked for this recipe everytime I make it.

Hamburger Soup II

Reviewed: Jul. 25, 2007
I didnt make this recipe to a T, but based on my modifications, it is a 5 star recipe and definately a keeper in my recipe box. I added any veggies I had in my garden... green beans, zuchinni, peas. I also added a can of corn and a can of tomatoes. I also added a can of cream of celery soup and a dash or two of worsteshire sauce. Then to spice it up I added basil, oregano and garlic. The soup was delicious!

very good, but next time I would cut back on the vinegar a bit. Also, it is much better the second and third day!

Pico de Gallo Chicken Quesadillas

Reviewed: Apr. 28, 2007
delicious! the pico de gallo is best when it sits overnight. It is also best to drain the pico sauce before putting it in the quesadilla so they arent soggy. These were a hit at my card party last night... even with the kids.

Classic Hollandaise Sauce

Reviewed: Mar. 8, 2007
Made this and it was DELISH!! I did modify a bit to my liking and based on other reviews. I cut down on the salt and pepper. My three kids ages 7, 5, 3 devoured it and dipped everything on their plate in the sauce. Definately a keeper in my recipe box.

I like to add some green and/or red pepper and a splash of lime juice to my fresh salsa. Definately let it sit for at least 24 hours to soak up all the flavors!
