Pastel de Tres Leches (Three Milk Cake)
I had high hopes with all the rave reviews, but my cake was a total fail. I beat the egg whites as directed and added ingredients as directed. After adding the milk and vanilla, the batter lost all volume and was very, very runny. It didn't rise and didn't soak up the milk. I did discover that my baking powder was old, but should the batter have been runny? Now I'm reluctant to try it again. Any suggestions?

Cabbage and Noodles with Apple and Carrot
Tried this last night. I used veggie bow time noodles because this is what I had on hand. It added some additional color to the dish and was bite size. I added some sliced smoked sausage which I heated in the microwave and poured off the grease before adding to the cabbage and noodles. It made a nice one dish meal. I am eating the reheated left overs right now and it tastes good. I used half a head of cabbage left over from another meal, 2 tablespoons of butter and 6 oz. of noodles.

Yummy Yam Casserole
Very tasty. I used chopped pecans to make it easier to serve and eat.
