Half-hour Pudding Cake ( Montreal Pudding)

Reviewed: Jan. 13, 2005
My mom use to make one, this is not it. The sauce was very runny and the crust rubbery. I won't waste my time again.

very good. Next time I will cut the banana a little smaller, so fit in the cookies better.

Easy Oatmeal Cookies

These were just ok for me, I found them to be too cakey and even a little dry. But good flavor.

I love recipes that make people think that I am a domestic diva and not the kitchen clutz that I really am. Thanks for helping me to keep up the charade. P.S. I sliced banana over the crust before adding the filling,Yummy!

Hot Fudge Sauce II

Reviewed: Mar. 11, 2006
Wow, this was great. I had first tried the chocolate sauce recipe by joan, but found it too thin. This is rich and thick...yummy!

Pesto, Goat Cheese, and Sun-dried Tomatoes Quiche

Reviewed: Mar. 25, 2008
I made this for Easter brunch. It was a huge hit.I made it with milk instead of cream, low fat cheese and sun-dried tomatoes without oil that I had blanched. It was still wonderful, we never missed the extra calories. (with all the chocolate, I needed something easier on the waistline.

Playgroup Granola Bars

Reviewed: Apr. 20, 2008
These were very good, but they are like a blonde square rather then a granola bar. But i will definatly make them again, the kids love them, a great alternative to store-bought cookies or granola bars.

Very good, but next time i will add more coffee. The liqueur in the whipped cream is a nice touch.

Popularity Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2008
These are amazing, so easy but fancy enough for giving out as gifts. For Christmas I like adding white chocolate chips instead of chocolate and dried cranberries instead of almonds, very festive...but don't make them because you will eat them all, highly sddictive

Morning Glory Muffins

Reviewed: Feb. 25, 2009
So good, very moist, the whole family loved them. I like that this recipe uses apple sauce instead of lots of oil, and lots of healthy stuff! Next time i'll add whole wheat flour intead of white. (but I can be a bit of a health nut)

Pancakes

Reviewed: Feb. 13, 2010
I know my way around the kitchen, and I know the difference in flour, I used all purpose and added baking powder, salt and a little sugar and vanilla for flavour. They were flat and rubbery. I will not try this again.

Frosted Corn Flake Cereal Clusters

Reviewed: Feb. 22, 2010
I gave this 4 stars, but only with modifications. Use regular corn flakes, they are way too sweet (this coming from a true sugar junkie) and use 2 1/2 cups of cereal, otherwise they are very runny. these are yummy and easy.

I made this for a dinner party last night. It was very good, I added 1/2 cup of salsa and a dash of Franks red hot to the filling to give it a little more zing.

Mexican Rice II

Reviewed: Jan. 23, 2011
This was good, but a little bland for my liking. I used fresh garlic, some green pepper and a dach of tabasco. I wasn't sure about cooking the rice before adding the liquid, but it turned out well.

Ravishing Red Velvet Cake

Reviewed: Feb. 14, 2011
I gave this 3 stars, but only because of the icing. The cake came out dry and heavy. The icing however was very yummy. I used my mixer and beat it for about 10 minutes, it came out light and fluffy and tasted rich and creamy. I will look for a better cake recipe.
