Peppermint Meringues
Tasted these before, but never made them. When you say beat until stiff peaks form and many comment on the length of time that it takes, can you be more specific? 8, 10, 15 or more than 20 minutes. I have never had good luck making just plain meringue for pie for this reason, so I am hesitating to try this recipe though I know they are EXCELLENT tasting. I only have a hand mixer and I know that does make a difference. Thanks.

Crunchy Turkey Salad
Was making this for a shower so I read the reviews before I started and made the following adjustments...used slivered almonds, 1 granny smith apple (diced with skins), dried cranberries and used as much as 4 cups of chopped turkey. The celery and parsley I used as the recipe stated. I also used 2/3 dark meat and 1/3 white meat to help keep it moist. Of course I needed to double the dressing mixture, it turned out PERFECT! Served on small croisants...guests were begging for the recipe...very easy...will definitely make again!

Slow Cooker Lasagna
I found this recipe MANY years ago and it has turned out to be one of my family's favorites. However, my recipe does call for 1/2 cup water added to the sauce/paste mixture and the cooking time states cooking on LOW for 4 1/2 - 5 hours only. Mine has turned out perfect everytime I've made it, never tough or burnt, tastes just like the lasagna served in resturants.
