Best Brownies

Reviewed: Aug. 2, 2008
I used this recipe in place of a recipe that called for a brownie mix(mixed in with other ingredients), and it turned out wonderful, I can't wait to make it alone and see how it tastes! EDIT: Have made it as is, and it's great!! I ran out of white sugar though, and had to use 1/2c of brown. Still turned out very yummy, but I don't really like brown sugar in my brownies so next time I'll make sure I have enough white. I baked mine for about 21 minutes and they were done (toothpick came out clean).

Special Buttercream Frosting

Reviewed: Aug. 2, 2008
Loved this icing. It was firm but very easy to spread, and the cream adds a great taste to it.

Heavenly White Cake

Reviewed: Aug. 2, 2008
Followed the recipe exactly! Made two batches and baked in 9x13 pans for about 35 minutes. Made a two layer cake with them, and it turned out great! The cake has such a nice texture and tastes amazing.

Peanut Butter Cup Cupcakes

Reviewed: Jul. 24, 2008
Just made these! Followed the recipe exactly, and they turned out sooo delicious. Most ideal time to eat is about 15 minutes out of the oven, but they taste great once they're cold too, plus they can be nuked in the microwave too! =)

One Bowl Chocolate Cake III

Reviewed: Jul. 2, 2008
Followed the recipe exactly and it turned out wonderful! When I put the boiled water in, I was afraid it was too thin, but it turned out with great texture. I baked it in a ten inch bundt pan and had to change the time of course. 50 minutes and it turned out perfectly! =)

Bread Machine Bagels

Reviewed: Jun. 28, 2008
Made this recipe exactly, but with only 6 bagels. I thought they were a bit too big, so next time I make them, I'll make the 9 and see how that turns out. Tasted great though! EDIT: made with the 9, came out kind of odd looking. Still tasted great, but I'd rather make 6 and have them all big and round!

Apple-Cranberry Crisp

Reviewed: Jun. 19, 2008
Loved this. I don't think I'll ever make apple crisp without cranberries again! I usually double the recipe and use a 9x13 pan, and have it with ice cream.

Clone of a Cinnabon

Reviewed: May 25, 2008
Loved this one. Didn't have any problems with it. One thing though is, I made the icing and only ended up using half of it, because there was so much of it! So I just ended up making more cinnamon buns the next day and using up the rest of the icing!

Simple Tiramisu

Reviewed: May 25, 2008
I like this recipe because it's super fast and a lot easier than other ones I've seen. I don't line the sides of the pan, I just make layers. I also added about a quarter cup of mascarpone to it, just because I had some in the fridge. Was very yummy!

The Easiest Blackened Chicken

Reviewed: May 25, 2008
This was so unbelievably easy! I use whatever kind of chicken I get on sale, either breasts or small cutlet pieces, and either works really well. I also serve it over rice and veggies, and I make it about once a week just because it's so easy.
