Sugar Cookie Icing

Followed the recipe pretty closely, just added a bit more milk to get the consistency I needed. hardened to a fantastic glossy icing! Will definitely use this again anytime I make sugar cookies!!

Nanaimo Bars III

Soooo good. I doubled the recipe and put into a 9x13 pan. I used custard powder but next time I think I might just use vanilla pudding mix. I lined the pan with parchment so I could take it out a little easier. Cuts really well and absolutely delicious!!

Apple Pie by Grandma Ople

I didn't use a lattice crust for the top. Definitely toss the apples in the syrup and coat with cinnamon. As delicious as the pie was, it needed cinnamon! I love cinnamon though, so that's just my personal opinion. The apples came out super tender though. Will definitely use this recipe again!!

Ultimate Frozen Strawberry Margarita

I used frozen raspberries instead because my friend doesn't like strawberries. Kept everything else the same; these were phenomenal!! Strong, but yummy enough to hide it :)

Pecan Pie Bars I

The only thing I changed was the sugar and the baking time...to about 50 minutes, and even then it had more than a bit of jiggle to it, but it turned out fantastic!! And I used brown sugar instead of white! These were gone so fast. Will definitely be making for holiday get togethers from now on!!

Coconut Macaroons III

Followed the directions exactly as is!! Baked mine for 15 minutes. Might use half sweetened and unsweetened coconut next time, because it was a bit too sweet for me, but that's just a preference. Very good recipe!! Great dipped in dark chocolate.

Mom's Zucchini Bread

I doubled the recipe...made 2 loaves and 48 mini loaves. I used half brown sugar, half white, cut it down to 2 cups (doubled) each. Next time I'd cut the sugar down even more, they're very sweet! Love the recipe though, tasted amazing!! I might double the zucchini next time as well.
