The Best Lemon Bars

I am a beginner of all beginners when it comes to baking, but this recipe was so easy to follow. I made some adjustments on my way and I'd like to share those. I put 3 oz of butter, 1 1/2 cup of flour and added a little less than 1 ts of salt for the crust. The crust looked a bit too dry when I first put it in the pan, but it turned out just fine. Next time I make this, I'll do everything just the same but put only 1/2 ts of salt. Also, I had the crust stay in the oven for 20 minutes and the filling for 30 minutes. After that, I let it cool in room temperature then in the fridge before I cut it. I made this for a potluck and everyone said the amount of butter, salt, and sugar was just perfect. One last thing, do not forget parchment paper! I had to cut it in the pan, which left some scratches on the bottom of the pan :(
