Great and simple recipes. Mixed all wet ingredients then added flour and salt and then melted butter. Easy to work with and served them with sautéed apples from the same site. Yummy little whip topping on top.

Scalloped Potatoes and Onions

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2012
I have tried many scallop potato recipes. Loved this one! the sauce was the best and easiest I ever made. Thank you. I had boiled my potatoes while looking for a recipe, then peeled and sliced then in a pan. Layering the potatoes and sauce. I sautéed the onion with the butter while making the sauce, like someone had suggested. Yummy. Boiling potatoes cut down on the cooking time. Loved the recipe thank you.

Breakfast Bread Pudding

Reviewed: Nov. 5, 2011
I had a French loaf that dried up on me before I could use it. Cut it in junks added 1 1/2 more milk to mixture. Soaked over night. It worked great. I didn't have any maple syrup, so I used an other reviewers advice and add Carmel ice cream flavoring. I agree that it needs more flavor and sweeter. But all in all a good base. Thank you.

Sunday Dinner Rolls

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2010
I made these rolls today. had them mixed and read to rise by 9:30a.m., let them rise two +hrs and rolled out and let rise for tell double , were done by 12:30. added time needed. some tips that I have learnedwith yeast breads are one flour for bread is never exact, flour is different from brand to brand. you might use 2cup one time and the next time need 3.5 cups. I have a bosche, but I have also used a Kitchen aid with the a dough hook. If you will ad just enough flour for the dough to pull the side of the bowl clean. you would get the soft dough that makes it not to sticky to work with after it has risen. I like the recipe and will continue to use it. milk and butter is always a great addition but not a must. thanks

Summer Zucchini Casserole

Reviewed: Aug. 10, 2010
I have used this recipe or at least one simular for years. Yellow summer squash is the best, I enjoy it better then zucchini. and to even mix the two is great. I add a littleGarlic powder, salt and pepper tand the carrots in with the squash as it cooks. It is better to steam the vegetables(less liquid).

Cinnamon Ice Cream

Reviewed: Sep. 14, 2009
I have a Gallon (when froze) Ice cream freezer. I doubled the recipe (followed to full cup of sugar). Put when I added it for the freezer container it fell short of the line, So beening as I'm the kind on person that waters down Kool-aid. I was worried about the sweetness. I went ahead and add about 3 more cups of Half-n-Half to the mix to bring it up to the line. Kept it in the frig over night. PERFECT!!!!! No wonder why it is at the top! I will make it often. thanks Elizebeth great recipe!!!!!!

Coconut Macaroons III

I used to have this recipe and had lost it. Thanks for Sharing. Very easy and fun. I used a cookie scoop and end up with about 48 good size cookies. I cook lunch for neice, nephews as well as my own kids(17 total) They enjoyed them. I added a half a bag of semi-sweet mini chocolate chips. They all said to add them to my recipe box. I greased one pan and not the other. I had no problem sticking, did brown the bottom but I like the toasted taste. Thanks again for the recipe.

Zucchini Cobbler

Reviewed: Aug. 24, 2007
I have had this same recipe for years and it is a highly asked for dish during Zucchini season. I use about 10 cups of squash. I showed a young womans group how to make it. They made it for a scout Court of Honor. A scout told me later that He was not sure how it worked but it really tasted like apple.
