Cream Cheese Pound Cake III

Reviewed: Feb. 26, 2005
I wasn't too fond of this pound cake. It was a bit dry. My company liked it, however. I served it with strawberries and whipped cream, highly recommend doing this.

Almond Chicken Casserole I

Reviewed: Mar. 4, 2005
Absolutely the best casserole I have ever made. It's time consuming, but well worth it! I have made this casserole for many of my friends and family members and have been asked for the recipe every time.

Bacon Quiche Tarts

Reviewed: Mar. 26, 2005
I made these for Easter brunch and they were amazing! I did as others suggested and split the biscuits in half. I also used cheddar cheese and just mixed the bacon into the cream cheese mixture. My 7 year old ate 3 of them in one sitting and he's the pickiest eater. I will definately be making these again. For the non-meat eaters I made another batch with spinach and mushroom sauteed in butter and then squeezed dried. I used the swiss cheese for these. YUM!

This really tastes like something from a bakery! You can't ask for an easier recipe either. I made this for Easter brunch and it went first and fast. Extremely moist too!

Bagel and Cheese Bake

Reviewed: Mar. 26, 2005
Thank you so much for helping me break my breakfast casserole monotony. I did as others suggested and added 2 more eggs as well as using 3 1/2 Asiago cheese bagels, cubed. I prefer sausage to bacon so I used that too. Oh! I also added 2 tsps of dry mustard. Fantastic!

I can't even tell you how many times I have made this recipe. It has a perfect blend of spice and sweet. I add cilantro and bean sprouts as a garnish and it tastes like something from a restaurant! Thanks for sharing this keeper.

Cheese Filled Triangles

Reviewed: Apr. 28, 2005
These were phenomenal! I just added a garlic clove or two to the mixture. I wish I either doubled the recipe or made them smaller so that I had more to go around. Thanks!

Basil Pesto Bread Rounds

Reviewed: Apr. 28, 2005
I did the same thing another reviewer suggested because I was short on time. I toasted the bread ahead of time, then spread the mixture on the toast before my company came. Delicious and what a nice change for an appetizer.

Fancy Brownies

Reviewed: May 12, 2005
I made these twice now. The first time I followed the recipe to a tee. They were great, but the second time I chopped the Rolo's in half as suggested. The caramel seemed to be more evenly dispersed this way. YUM!

Baked Cream Cheese Appetizer

Reviewed: May 12, 2005
Very fast and easy appetizer. I added 2 cloves of minced garlic and dill to the cream cheese then formed it into the shape I wanted before wrapping it with the crescent dough. I also cut out leaf shapes to place on top before brushing with the milk as suggested. It looked and tasted wonderful.

Mocha Chocolate Chip Banana Muffins

Reviewed: Jun. 23, 2005
This recipe was amazingly easy! I followed the other reviews and cut back to 1c. sugar and increased the coffee to 2T. The muffins were so moist, and whatever leftovers I had I brought to work and was asked for the recipe threefold. Thanks.

Best Brownies

Reviewed: Jul. 5, 2005
I made these brownies for the 4th. I used the pour and frost frosting just because of other reviewers comments. The point is, no matter what frosting you use, the brownies themselves are absolutely delicious! I also added chocolate chips and doubled the recipe so that there was enough to go around. Thanks.

Sugar Coated Pecans

Reviewed: Jul. 13, 2005
I actually made this recipe with almonds because I didn't have enough pecans. My friends were eating them by the handfuls saying that they tasted like the nuts they sell at amusement parks. I used the rest to top a summer salad. Delicious!!

Toll House® Mini Morsel Pancakes

This recipe was easy enough to throw together and tasted great. I did add more milk so the pancakes wouldn't be so dense. My kids thank you.
