Burrito Pie

Reviewed: Aug. 20, 2006
This was awesome! I added a packet of taco seasoning as suggested. I served it with shredded lettuce, cheery tomatoes, sour cream and salsa. Just throw some taquitos and spanish rice alongside it and you have yourself a Mexican feast! Thanks!

Clone of a Cinnabon

Reviewed: Aug. 19, 2006
If it was possible to give 10 stars I would!! These taste identical to Cinnabon - icing and all. My boys and their friends scarfed these up the morning after a sleepover, rave reviews. I did make them the night before and let them sit at room temp for 30 min. before baking. Thank you so much!

Fresh Salsa I

Reviewed: Aug. 12, 2006
This is a very good recipe, however if you rather have a milder salsa BEWARE! Only use maybe 2 jalepenos. I probably should have de-seeded the peppers and that would have brought it down a notch, but WOW! It's got a kick which my hubbie loves.

Marshmallow Cake

Reviewed: Aug. 11, 2006
I gave this a 4 for how easy this recipe is, however, for taste I would give it a 3. It either needed more marshmallows or some kind of topping/filling. Thanks.

Slow Cooker Italian Beef for Sandwiches

Reviewed: Aug. 4, 2006
Absolutely delicious! I live in Chicago and can't believe how close this comes to a real Chicago beef sandwich. I added the 2 pkgs. of dressing and beef broth as suggested. Thank you so much!

Cream of Spinach Soup

Reviewed: Aug. 3, 2006
This was a good base recipe. I had to add a lot of seasoning to bring some flavor to it though. I just followed the other reviews and added sauteed onion, garlic and cayenne pepper. Had trouble thickening it too. Thanks for a good base to work with though!

Banana Sour Cream Bread

Reviewed: Aug. 3, 2006
Wow! I'm always curious about tasting different banana bread recipes, but this one tops out the last one I tried. I love the cinnamon sugar coating - very unique! Thanks for a keeper.

Wicked Good Dip

Reviewed: Jul. 3, 2006
This was good. Definately different than any other appetizer I've ever made. The only downside - just a little too salty for me. Maybe next time I would dd garlic powder versus garlic salt. Thanks

Buffalo Chicken Dip

Reviewed: Jun. 18, 2006
OMG! How easy to put together! This went so fast at my father's day BBQ. Definately a hit for a group of hungry guys. Thanks! I did use blue cheese versus Ranch - just a personal preference.

Chicken and Bacon Shish Kabobs

Reviewed: Jun. 13, 2006
This recipe is definately a keeper, however, I wish there was a way to make the marinade a little bit thicker. It would taste so good as a sauce too! Thanks for the recipe

Aussie Chicken

Reviewed: May 30, 2006
Very good! This was definately a very close knock off to Outback's Alice Springs chicken. I wouldn't change a thing with this recipe, except maybe double it!!!

Marcia's Famous Sticky Buns

Reviewed: Apr. 16, 2006
This was super easy and really good! My only problem was I couldn't find a 12oz. package of frozen rolls only a 3lb. bag. After rising, what I guesstimated to be 12 oz. ended up rising above my bundt pan and leaking a bit over. YIKES! Anyways, my kids and husband loved it and I brought the left overs to my sister's for Easter. Thanks!

Banana Coconut Loaf

Reviewed: Apr. 11, 2006
I really wanted to like this one! I followed all the suggestions: 1/2 sugar 1/2 brown sugar, chocolate chips, more bananas, not as much almond extract, toasting the coconut and adding a bit more too. It just didn't taste all that good. It actually could have been sweeter. Maybe tomorrow it'll taste better to me. Thanks for the recipe though.

Sukhothai Pad Thai

Reviewed: Mar. 18, 2006
If you follow the suggestions that were given by other reviewers i.e. changing the soy sauce to fish sauce, using less vinegar and adding about 2 tbs. peanut butter, you cannot go wrong!! This is a great Pad Thai recipe and have already given the recipe out twofold. Thanks!!

Angel Chicken Pasta

Reviewed: Mar. 8, 2006
If it's possible to give 6 stars I would! I was hesitant to make this b/c alot of the reviews said it was too salty. The truth is that if you taste the sauce when you first combine the ingredients together, it will be salty. Give time for the juices from the chicken to mix with the sauce and you'll be amazed at how good this recipe is. So easy to put together as well. Make sure to use a good quality white wine too.

Hedgehogs

Reviewed: Mar. 8, 2006
I give this recipe a 3 because all in all it's a good basis to work with. The meatballs definately needed seasoning. I followed other reviews and added garlic salt, pepper, worschester and parsley. The tomato base was fine for a sauce my kids liked it as well.

OMG!!! This was definately a cake to put in your favorites. Just don't tell anyone watching their waistlines what makes it sooooo moist! I chose not to ice this cake, but I did sprinkle it with powdered sugar. Thanks for the great recipe!
