Val's Spicy Baked Shrimp

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2014
Made this with 1/2 cup butter and omitted the wine, but it was really, really good! We all enjoyed it, even our 6 and 8 year old. We made it with penne pasta on the side, but realized that if you mix it all together it was so much better...definitely a keeper!!

Cajun Chicken Pasta

Reviewed: May 3, 2013
This is a really good recipe!! We thinly sliced the green and red pepper into strips instead of chunks and after slicing the chicken we coated each piece with cajun seasoning (using WAY more than the recipe suggests, but we like more flavor and that gave it a ton!). Definitely a keeper in our house, thanks!

My Best Clam Chowder

Reviewed: Feb. 21, 2013
Great recipe! I added bacon like the other suggested and used minced and whole baby clams in my batch. I also used all the clam juice and found that the red wine vinegar really did make it better. I'll definitely be making this one again, thanks for the recipe!

Anniversary Chicken I

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2013
Well...my boyfriend and I made this and it turned out great, but we didn't quite follow the directions...oops!! I had part of the recipe written down and knew what else had to be done, but when he was trying to help, it got all messed up in miscommunication. We ended up marinading the chicken in the oil/sauce/ranch mixture and then baking it...tasted great and chicken was very moist! We then topped it with green onions, mushrooms, and cheese and finished that in the last 10 minutes in the oven. Served it with garlic mashed potatoes and it was delicious! We would definitely make this recipe again...following the directions or ours :) He doesn't even care for ranch and loved it so I'd say this one is a keeper!

English Muffin Breakfast Strata

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2012
Thanks for the great recipe! I love breakfast bakes and am always wanting to try new ones. I ended up using 2 pans though because they wouldn't all fit into one, but followed the recipe and it turned out great! I think adding some other ingredients like onions, green peppers, etc would be a good addition as well...maybe next time!

Chicken Enchiladas II

Reviewed: Sep. 29, 2007
I loved this recipe! I don't care for tomatoes, chiles, or onions, but I did decide to add half a can of Mexican style Rotel (drained). I only added this because I thought my husband would think there wasn't enough flavor to it. I plan on making this recipe all the time. Thank you for a great meal!

Lizzy's Creamy Chicken Bake

Reviewed: Dec. 14, 2005
This was a good chicken recipe but I modified it a bit. Like other users I didn't use a full package of dry onion soup mix. I added it to taste. I also added a extra can of cream of chicken soup. It goes well with stuffing and rolls, plus the rolls can be dipped in the sauce. Will definately use this again!

Ho Ho Cake

Reviewed: Dec. 13, 2005
The cream filling wasn't any good until I added more powdered sugar and still wasn't worth taking to a party.

Chicken Wild Rice Soup I

Reviewed: Dec. 13, 2005
This soup was GREAT! I didn't use the sherry or the almonds and instead of slicing the veggies, I chopped them. We also like our soup a little thicker so we ended up putting in almost 3 1/2 cups of rice. I also made this soup with pheasant the second time and turned out just as good. Already had to give the recipe out. Thanks!!!
