Artichoke Wonton Cups

Reviewed: Apr. 29, 2011
If I could give this a 0 I would! It just tastes like a glob of mayo. Not much flavor. If I had to do it again I would leave the mayo out all together and double the spices. *IF* being the key word! BLAH

Rhubarb Berry Jam

Reviewed: Aug. 10, 2010
This is wonderful Jam. I made it with strawberry jello instead. Do NOT double the batch. It makes it come out runny. Still edible but not the jam texture that you would like.

Chocolate Elegance

Reviewed: Jun. 11, 2010
I am always hesitant to try a recipe that has not been made by several people, but I have to say the ingredients tempted me into giving it a try. We did NOT regret it. It was such a hot day when we made this so I froze it. It turned out delicious. I love that I could melt the ingredients in the microwave and didn't have to get out a double boiler. The next time I make this I will definately double this recipe because it goes so fast. It is VERY rich. The pictures of it are way too HUGE to eat because it is so rich.

Twenty-Four Hour Salad

Reviewed: May 31, 2010
This was yummy! I made it as the recipe stated but later found these things helpful Layer all the ingredients putting the peas LAST. Mix Mayo and sugar ADDING 1-2Tbsp of vinegar to it (Honest it tastes awesome and makes it wetter to spead easier). Spread mayo, sugar and vinegar mixture on top of peas then sprinkle on cheese and bacon (I used 1/2 a package of real bacon).

Peanut Butter Puddingwiches

These are AWESOME. They are not an ice cream sandwich. They are a great homemade substitute. I have 6 children and they all love them. My husband loves them too!

Carrot Cake III

Reviewed: May 21, 2010
I made this exactly as stated except I used fresh ground whole wheat flour and raw sugar. Turned out awesome! **The frosting was way too much for a 9x13 though!

Rhubarb Gelatin Salad

Reviewed: May 21, 2010
I used Strawberry instead of raspberry. Turned out awesome. I keep trying to get a picture up of this dessert (why wouldn't they put one up?), but it never lasts long enough to take one! I will have to take a picture when it's in the fridge next time.

Breakfast Sausage

I used all beef because it was what I had. Everything else I followed to a 'T'. Next time I will make these silver dollar size because they don't shrink up. (Probably because I used beef)

Pineapple Cream Cheese Frosting

Reviewed: May 7, 2010
I use the juice from a can of crushed pineapple then I add some of the crushed pineapple. This makes a wonderful textured frosting that EVERYONE will love! I've used this recipe for years but this is the first time seeing it on Allrecipes.

Garbanzo Bean Chocolate Cake (Gluten Free!)

Reviewed: Oct. 8, 2008
This was not your typical cake texture. It was more like a cheesecake texture. With that said-my family didn't even know that it was gluten free. I think that topping it with the powdered sugar and strawberries would have been yummy. I didn't have any strawberries so I made chocolate frosting and it was great...a word of advice...cut small pieces it is rich!

Grandma's Chicken Noodle Soup

Reviewed: Sep. 19, 2008
This recipe is awesome! For those of you that thought it was too salty...let me explain why! The chicken broth is HOMEMADE! You season it yourself unlike the store bought stuff that is packed with sodium. I made this with my own broth (Take a pot and fill it with water. Add your chicken bones, skin and all. Add veggies such as celery and carrots along with your chosen seasoning. I use a homemade rotisserie seasoning. Stew it all in the oven for 8-10 hours. When done strain broth out and seperate chicken and you've got what you need for this great soup. I use a HUGE stock pot and I usually get 9 quarts of broth out of it. You can can up the extra broth in jars by processing for 20 minutes.) Hope this clears up the mistaken "salty" problem for all of you!

Grilled Pizza Wraps

Reviewed: Mar. 14, 2005
My mom has made these for 20+ years. She, however, put down foil, then a tortilla and the fixings *yes cheese first and last* then folded tortilla over and sealed the foil up and put them *IN* the oven for 30 minutes at 350 degrees. I make this often when the kids are feeling picky and I am in a pinch for dinner or lunch or snack time.

Baked Salmon II

Reviewed: Feb. 2, 2005
My husband and my extremely picky children just LOVED this recipe. I used garlic powder because I didn't have minced garlic. 2Tbls of oil and 1/2 tsp of salt, 1/4 cup of white wine. I found out that Salmon is a "fishy" tasting fish. A word of warning to you that don't like Tuna...stay away from this recipe. Salmon is a richer tasting tuna! I don't want to discourage those of you that do like it...My husband thought it taste so incredible. He said it was the best salmon he had ever had!

Tuna Noodle Casserole IV

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2005
I used cream of chicken soup as a substitute, whole wheat shells and half the milk and Garlic butter croutons. I recommend putting the cheese and croutons on the last 10 minutes so that they don't get over done after you bring them out of the oven!
