About this Cook
I love animals. I have 3 dogs: Bailey, a pug, Zoe, a pug-shih-tzu mix, and Troy, a chocolate lab. I also have fish, and a leopard gecko named Priscilla queen of the desert (after the movie). I love music and I've been playing the drums for seven years. I'm gay, but I don't like to make a big deal about it. I love to read, my favourite author is Kurt Vonnegut. I'm 19 and finishing up high school, hopefully next year I will be going to University of Toronto! Lastly, I have been a vegetarian for about 8 years, but I'm not preachy about it.
My favorite things to cook
I love to bake, and my specialty dessert is cheesecake. I friggin' love brownies and anything chocolate-y. I'm a vegetarian so Everything I cook is vegetarian, no meat, no fish, etc. I do eat dairy products and milk though. I was vegan for a year but I missed cheese too much. I LOVE CHEESE. I like to try new things to cook, as I haven't been cooking for very long.

lol everyone in my family is horrible at cooking, so I have no family cooking traditions.

I make really good desserts honey, trust.
My cooking tragedies
uh... I made brownies for a friend a couple days ago and I burned them? But it wasn't much of a tragedy I just scraped the burnt parts off and it was tasty.

The Best Potato Salad
Best potato salad ever. I don't use the optional ingredients (I am a vegetarian) nor do I add the celery seed. It tastes amazing, but does require a bit of time.

Steven's Baked Nachos
I use this recipe as a template for vegetarian nachos. I cut out the chicken, and I re-fry my own beans (pinto). I use two bags of large tortilla chips. I use the chopped onions, the green peppers, and the sour cream, but I like to add sliced black olives, and sometimes chopped tomatoes (Roma), or whatever I feel like really (chopped sauteed garlic/onions, etc). I use a LOT of cheese (any kind I have really), and I layer like the recipe says, just without the meat. I also make a bowl of yummy guacamole to go with it, and its perfect. Love it for the Superbowl!
