About this Cook
I am a stay at home mom of Abby(4) and Quinn(3). I love having the time to cook now for my family and for friends.
My favorite things to cook
I would have to say anything for dinner. My husbund is a real meat and potatos guy so I like cooking new things and seeing what he like.
My favorite family cooking traditions
It would have to be Thanksgiving. When my grandmother passed away I took on cooking and I love it. Nothing is better then seeing everyone stuffed and happy anfter eating a meal you made.
My cooking triumphs
Breaking away from the norm. Trying things I never would have before. My mom is the kind of cook that "if it isn't broke, don't fix it", so I love making her try something new and (winning).
My cooking tragedies
Fell asleep while making a cheesecake. Needless to say 5 hours it was very dry.

Creamy Banana Bread
Everyone always gives me hell for messing with traditional recipes, but no one could complain when they tried this bread. It was a HIT. I added more banana like others said. I also added a 1/2tsp of allspice and put half the cinnamon in the batter. Turned out wonderful!

French Beef Stew
Overall I think it was alright, but my family didn't care for it at all. I should have taked the advice of the other reviewers and only used one can of tomatoes. It turned out bland and watery.

Mini Cheesecakes I
What a hit on mothers day! I used a graham cracker crust and dropped in about 10 chocolate chips in each. I also used the large muffin foils that need no pan, so easy.
