Baked Teriyaki Chicken

I made this for dinner last night and the family really liked it. It was simple to make and so darn good. I doubled the sauce and added cut onion and bell peppers to put over rice. Great to have a new recipe to add to dinner menu.

Flourless Peanut Butter Cookies

My kids and I love these. They are so easy to make, and have a great soft peanut butter cookie taste. I added just a dash of vanilla extract and it made them take even better.

Chocolate Chip Cookie Bars

These were a hit. Eventhough I hate it when people change the recipes when reviewing them (then you're not reviewing the same recipe!) I did make a couple of changes.lol. I added an egg because it did look a little dry and crumbly, and I used half white half brown sugar. They came out moist with a great buttery taste.

America's Favorite Grilled Cheese Sandwich

This was the first thing I taught all my kids how to cook when teaching them to use the stove. It has become a staple in my household. It's hot cheesey gooeyness is the ultimate comfort food, add a cup of tomato soup and it's a little piece heaven on earth.

Iowa Pork Steak

I cooked this recipe exactly as written, and served it with rice and green beans, and my family loved it. Even my picky daughter asked for seconds of the meat.The steaks were fork tender and very flavorful. A definite keeper.

Aunt Johnnie's Pound Cake

THIS CAKE SHOULD BE RENAMED "THE AMAZING DISAPPEARING POUND CAKE!" I TOO SUBSTITUTED VANILLA IN MY RECIPE, AND IT DIDN'T LAST THE WHOLE DAY AT MY HOUSE. MY FAMILY ATE THE WHOLE THING IN ONE DAY. IT WAS DELICIOUS!
