Rolled Buttercream Fondant

A little hard to get the right consistency but I placed it in the oven to speed up the "drying" process. Flavor is good. Incredients are things you have around the home...I think a recipe with gumpaste turns out better but with what it has in it this is an amazing concept!

Frangipane

This was not as flavorful as what I was hoping. I added a great deal more almond paste to attempt to add more almond flavoring but for strictly a cake filling this was rather disappointing. I did not try almond extract, which was ran out of. Good concept. I added cake crumbs to bulk up this filling and make thicker for my purposes. Perhaps if you are going to bake this it will be different.

Spinach Salad With Berries and Curry Dressing

Dressing was the perfect blend & balanced for the berries and the salad. We used blackberries (not blueberries) and roasted sunflower seeds (not pecans) for personal tastes. We served this and everyone went bonkers over it. Thanks to whomever created this for such a tremendous recipe!

Pumpkin Curry Soup

Oh so easy and oh so good! I agree that it could get kicked up a notch and modified but this is an excellent soup. We served it with Rothbury croutons and it was a nice addition. Our thanks to those who submitted this superb dish. Agree this was not very pumpkiny-- rather subtle but great!

German Pancake with Buttermilk Sauce

The "pancakes" are very eggy but there are tons of eggs in french toast and it does remind me of crepes, like another review stated. The buttermilk/caramel syrup is to die for! It is very sweet but went well with the less than sweet pancakes. I did follow the receipe to the letter but I am sure some substitutions could be done without problems. Make sure you stir the sauce for the entire 7 minutes of boiling because you are making carmel syrup when you do this. The caloric content on these is huge but the taste is amazing! You might be able to make one batch of syrup to two batches of pancakes. Amazing receipe~! Stephanie
