Ricotta Cheese Cake

Reviewed: Nov. 9, 2011
not bad but i think i prefer eating the yellow cake alone... the cheese mixture sinks to the bottom and it is quite soggy... don't think i'll make this again.

Grill Master Chicken Wings

Reviewed: Oct. 23, 2011
Husband didn't want to grill so followed the advice of other reviewers and baked at 400 for 45 and these were delicious! Couldnt really taste the butter in the sauce so I'm thinking about reducing to 1 tbsp ( from 4) next time. Thx for sharing such a yummy easy recipe!

Reduced the water to half a can as others commented that it was too soupy and it turned out well. Might try with fresh mushrooms next time!

Rosemary Ranch Chicken Kabobs

Reviewed: Jun. 22, 2011
great recipe - followed another's suggestion and cubed 1 red and 1 green bell pepper, along with 1/2 a vidalia onion and marinated it with the chicken. i also used the low fat hidden valley ranch dressing and i don't think it compromised the flavor at all!

Sweet and Spicy Stir Fry with Chicken and Broccoli

Reviewed: May 13, 2011
This was delicious and so easy to make, especially with the frozen fully cooked chicken breast strips from target. They are sold in the freezer section in a large bag and sooo convenient! I just microwaved the chicken, and threw it in with the garlic into the oil, added the broccoli and some fresh red bell pepper. Didn't hav green onion so I omitted, as well as the chicken stock b/c I didn't think it was necessary and it turned out delish. Thanks for sharing!

Asian Lettuce Wraps

Reviewed: Apr. 21, 2011
great recipe - wanted a healthier alternative, so used ground turkey instead of beef. didn't have green onions, so i subbed diced yellow onions. i also had some fresh mushrooms on hand, so diced them up and threw them in there as well. didn't have pickled ginger either so used fresh ginger, about 1 tsp. husband and i like a kick so added about 1 tbsp of Sriracha hot sauce - fantastic recipe and simple to make! thanks for sharing!

Chinese Cold Pasta Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 8, 2010
this was fantastic! just finished making it - but i added a few of my own touches. i added a handful of shredded carrots (buy the kind from the store that's already shredded!) i also added a tablespoon of sesame seed oil for a little asian flair and at the end i threw in some toasted sesame seeds! after seeing other reviews about the difficulty in mixing the pb, i poured the broth in a bowl and added the pb and threw that in the microwave at half power for 1-2 mins and it mixed very easily! also didn't have fettucine on hand so i used thin linguine instead. definitely taste the sauce before adding to the noodles - i added a little more soy sauce as i didn't think 2 tbsp was enough. overall it has excellent flavor and i will definitely be making this again! thanks for sharing!!

the sauce tasted fantastic, but i would suggest brining your cut of pork before making this, as mine turned out a bit tough, cooked as per the instructions above.

fantastic made it just like the recipe said and this one is a keeper! Update: just made this again but added a can of chick peas/garbanzo beans for extra fiber. FANTASTIC! Next time I may sub sun-dried tomatoes for cherry tomatoes and add some red bell pepper and/or chopped cucumbers.

Italian Style Pork Chops

Reviewed: Jun. 30, 2010
they were a bit dry for my taste - perhaps it was the breading or the cut, maybe a lil bit of both. but it was so easy that i'd like to give it another shot with a different cut - will update!
