Delicious Raspberry Oatmeal Cookie Bars

Reviewed: Jul. 2, 2012
Very good. I used blueberry jam since that's what I had in our pantry and they were a big hit at an afternoon party. I expect any berry jam would work great.

Red Pepper-Salmon Pasta

Reviewed: May 13, 2012
Wow, this is a keeper. I read some of the other reviews and added a little heavy cream at the end but I'm not sure it was needed. Next time I will follow the recipe exactly. Very easy to make. Try it!

CCRyder's Smoker Rib Rub

Reviewed: Dec. 23, 2011
This is my "go to" rub for all pork I smoke - ribs, butt and shoulder. Rub the meat, wrap in plastic and put into the refrigerator overnight. Smoke the next day and you'll have great tasting meat.

Spectacular Marsala Glazed Carrots with Hazelnuts

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2011
Served this at Thanksgiving and both guests asked for the recipe. Super easy to prepare and the taste was great. Watch for the hazelnuts when toasting. I liked the sweet and crunchy texture and the Marsala adds a perfect amount of flavor.

Kyle's Favorite Beef Stew

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2008
I've made this recipe twice; first as a trial to get familiar with it and then for a dinner party of 18 people where I wanted to enjoy our guests and not be a slave to the kitchen - both times came out great. The second time I added a cup or so of frozen peas before serving because I liked the color in the stew. This is one of those recipes that's not too fancy but just tastes great - a keeper for your recipe box.

Cranberry Sauce I

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2008
After making this recipe several times, I simply don't understand why anyone wouldn't make their own sauce. So easy to make and so much better than store bought. I have made it exactly like the recipe which is great and I've modified the percentages of orange juice/water and brown/white sugar which gives it a little different flavors. I've also added a pinch of cinnamon and orange zest. Whatever I've tried has come out delicious. Give it a try.

Grilled Chicken Adobo

Reviewed: Oct. 26, 2008
Very tasty. I used low sodium soy sauce and it came out great. I think this would be a terrific recipe for a summer time backyard dinner. It should be easy to expand and most of the cooking is done in the pot.

Spicy Green Bean Saute

Reviewed: Nov. 11, 2007
Very tasty and simple to make. I followed the recipe to the letter and the cooking style and sauce could be used for a variety of vegetables. You could also sprinkle some toasted almonds on top if you want to be a little fancier. I served them with chicken tonight and we ate it all!

I served this with a slow cooked pork roast on sourdough buns and my "never been to Carolina" group of friends here in California loved it.

Oven Roasted Potatoes

Easy to make and a great recipe to experiment with. I have made it exactly as written and I've changed the spices around depending on the rest of the meal. They have always come out great and the versatility is a real bonus.

Easy and delicious - a combination that's hard to beat! I served it with a two BBQ sauces - a Carolina mustard sauce and a Texas tomato sauce on sourdough rolls. My guests loved it.

Indonesian Pork Satay

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2005
This came out very tasty and the family ate it up. Our grill was down so I ended up cooking it in a wok. I wouldn't do the next time even though it came out just fine.

Best Peanut Sauce

Very easy to make and tasty. Mine came out a little too thick and I will probably add some more water next time. I also added a couple more drops of hot sauce.

Very tasty. I made it according the recipe though I doubled it and it came out great. The family loved it and the leftovers were gone the next morning.
