New Year Spinach Fettuccine with Scallops

Very good. Made twice, so far. As I seldom leave well enough alone, I used shiitake mushrooms in place of the canned button ones, both times. Second time around, I added some sauteed red onion in step #3.

Bread Pudding II

Very good, albeit I cut the sugar back some! As most of the loaf bread that I bake is lean, whole-grain; I have taken to cooking extra waffles when the grand-kids are here to add them to the frozen bread scraps in the "for bread pudding" container in the freezer. IMHO, this pudding is best when about 1/4 waffles, 1/4 dark (not rye), and 1/2 whole-wheat, oat, multi-grain, etc. FWIIW, I tend to make a dbl recipe & cook a 325* until internal temperature reaches 200* on an instant read thermometer.

Oregon Salmon Patties

Tried it as published. Liked it but thought it was a tad bland. Tried it again using Old Bay in lieu of the dry mustard. Liked it better. Could be just because I'm from the mid-Atlantic area.

Sourdough Buckwheat Pancakes

IMHO, recipe needs more Buckwheat to AP flour ratio. As is, it is sort of buckwheat light pancakes. Also on a 300 degrees F griddle mine were done in far less time, I doubled the buckwheat, added 2 Tbl. Buttermilk powder, and substituted honey for the sugar to get (what I think is) a better variation.
